much...”
He liked her so much that she was a bit surprised. She even felt
flattered.
Shawn pulled at his tie and stood in front of the window. " Yes, Gale,
you won."
“Are you very pleased?” Shawn raised an eyebrow. “I used to not care
about you at all, but now I can't afford to lose you.”
“Yet, I don't love you.”
Shawn's lips pursed tightly as his whole body froze. “Say
“I don’t love you. Shawn, all I feel for you is hatred. I hate you for
ruining my perfect and happy family. I hate you for taking away my
child...” Gale said very slowly.
“Then keep on hating me.”
Shawn left the room, slamming the door.
Gale stood there quietly before suddenly sitting on the bed, feeling like
all her strength had been sapped away.
She felt like the marriage might be something she would not be able to
escape. Shawn would not let her go so easily.
She might have to spend her whole life with him.
She was going to live with a demon for her whole life. It was a terrifying
thought!
