"I'm just telling the truth. What's there to be embarrassed about? My grandson is such a young, successful, handsome, and caring man. I wonder which lucky girl will end up with you."

Olivia then asked, "Sonny, are you dating anyone? It's time to start thinking about it. You're not getting any younger. When your father was your age, you were already in preschool."

Sonny put down his glass of water and said, "Grandmom, I haven't met anyone I liked yet. There's no rush. I'll get married before I'm thirty-five."

Olivia would ask about his love life every time he came over for dinner. He was used to it.

He was already thirty-two. At his age, many men and women were married with children, yet he was still single and had never even been in a relationship before.

It was no wonder the elders were worried.

Those from his grandparents' generation typically married much earlier. In their eyes, one should already be thinking about marriage once they hit their twenties. Sonny was still single at thirty-two, so of course Olivia was anxious.

Even Duncan and Liberty were worried. They often asked Serenity to arrange blind dates for him, but he simply was not interested in the wealthy young ladies of Wiltspoon. He saw them often enough at social events.

Many of the women who pursued him were attracted by his looks and status. Serenity repeatedly told him that he should choose someone from a family of equal social status. With his current position, he could have his pick of any heiress.

Liberty often nagged him, saying that his standards were too high. There were so many wonderful girls, yet none of them caught his attention.

Sonny did not know why either. He just did not feel anything.

Both Hank and Duncan even asked him in private if he was straight or gay. Perhaps he was not interested in women at all.

Sonny did not know whether to laugh or to cry. Was it that strange that someone in his thirties had not dated before?

"Thirty-five is already old. Unless you find someone ten years younger than you, if you marry a woman around your own age, she'd be considered an older mother by the time she has children. She'd probably only have one child.

"You're an only child, so you should have at least two children. It doesn't matter whether they're boys or girls, but of course, two boys would be best."

Olivia only had one son and one daughter. She had actually wanted another son, but with no one to help with childcare while she and Luke worked, they decided that having two children was enough. Their quality of life would be better that way too, so they gave up on another child.

Chelsea did go on to have three children, but the kids stayed with their father's family more. Olivia helped raise all three of them, yet the one who truly took care of her now was her own grandson.

When Chelsea's family did visit, they would at most bring a fruit basket, then eat half of it before leaving. During the holidays, they would give her only a few hundred bucks as a gift.

Although Chelsea's children were not nearly as capable as Sonny, she still thought receiving only two hundred dollars for the holidays was rather stingy of them.

Back then, Luke and she had spent a fortune supporting Chelsea. They poured so much money into raising their three grandchildren.

Yet, the gratitude they received in return was so little.

Just thinking about it filled her with regret.

Sonny really was the only grandchild they could count on.

Sonny was Hank's only child. Jessica had once been pregnant before, but she had lost the baby. After she went to prison, Hank insisted on waiting for her instead of divorcing and remarrying to have more children.

Thus, Sonny remained his only child.

Meanwhile, Liberty had remarried and even had a daughter, having two children altogether. She was much better off than Hank was.

Olivia placed all her hopes on Sonny having at least two children after getting married. It would be best if he had three, two boys and a girl. Even if he did not want that many, she still hoped for at least two boys. If he ended up having two girls instead... Well, she still preferred having more great-grandsons.

"Grandmom, I don't even have a girlfriend yet. It's too far in the future to talk about how many children I'll have."

Olivia laughed. "I'll just leave that to fate."

"Granddad, what have you been up to lately?"
