The chapter opens with Keira perplexed but quickly rushing to untie the person she had bound. Lewis watches her, a knowing smile flickering in his eyes. He remarks that Keera has always kept a low profile and never learned martial arts—pointing out that Keira has given herself away. But Keira, ever quick-witted, retorts with playful defiance: "Mr. Horton, I don't understand what you're talking about." Lewis simply moves his wrist, sits on the sofa in the master bedroom, and fixes his gaze on her, making her feel uncomfortable. She asks if it's appropriate for him to come so late. Lewis, his eyes drooping but a smile creeping in, says she resembles his late wife, and he misses her terribly, so he came for a visit.

Keira ignores him and starts searching the master bedroom, desperate to find the diary Mary mentioned. But she's lived in that room for a month and never seen it. How could she find it now? She stands before the desk, pensive. Where would Keera hide a diary? She's already checked the wardrobe, the desk, the drawers—nothing. This past month, she hasn't only cared for Howard's mother and cleaned house diligently; she has also searched for any information about Keera. She wanted to uncover her secrets. But she has cleaned and cleared everything, looked through Keera's mundane diaries, and found nothing out of the ordinary. If Mary hadn't mentioned a locked diary that Keera never showed anyone, she wouldn't even know it existed. She feels around the bed, under it—still no clue.

Then, the deep voice of Lewis suddenly fills the room. He says, "When I was a child and wanted to hide something, I would usually bury it in the ground." Bury it in the ground. Keira's head snaps around, her gaze landing on the small garden of the villa. The villa has its own yard, and Keera liked to plant flowers—there's a corner with flowers and a tree. Keira stands abruptly and strides outside. Amy and the maid have already gone to bed, and Mary hasn't come out from the guest room. Keira takes garden shears and goes to the tree, stepping around arbitrarily until she notices that the soil in one area isn't soft—it feels hard. She immediately starts digging with a small shovel. After a few digs, she sees a metal box—small, the size of a book, without a lock. She drops the shovel, takes out the box, dusts it off, and opens it to find a floral-covered notebook inside. The notebook has a small lock, but the key isn't in the box.

Keira falls silent for a moment, reburies the box, and goes back upstairs to the bedroom. She's about to close the door when she realizes Lewis is right behind her. She almost forgot about that damn man. She rolls her eyes and goes inside. Lewis suggests the key might be hard to find, but Keira scoffs: "Who said I'm looking for the key?" Lewis is taken aback. Then he watches as Keira takes scissors and with a "snip, snip," cuts the notebook free from the locked part. Lewis is speechless. After doing this, Keira opens the notebook and finds everything intact, finally sighing with relief. But she doesn't look at her sister's belongings right away. Instead, she turns to Lewis: "Mr. Horton, aren't you planning to leave? Breaking and entering is a crime, you know." Lewis takes a step forward, comes up to her, and suddenly bends down, lowering his head to embrace her.

Keira wants to struggle, but Lewis says, "If you push me away, that will prove you're Keira, not Keera, because Keera wouldn't have the guts." Keira is perplexed. She stops moving. Indeed, if Keera were in her shoes, given their mismatch in status, she would only try to please him, fear him. As she's thinking, the man lowers his head and buries it in the nape of her neck, his breath spraying on her skin, making her itch. She feels as though ants are crawling all over her body, stirring her heart into chaos. She pushes at Lewis, pretending to be Keera: "Mr. Horton, don't do this..." But Lewis speaks again: "Don't do what? Last time at the Oceanion Hotel, you didn't reject me like this..." Keira stiffens. Then Lewis reaches out and caresses her cheek: "Keira, last time, this is how I undid your clothes..." With a tug at her waist, her robe instantly falls to the floor. Keira's pupils contract, and she instinctively covers her body, but Lewis grabs her arm: "You didn't refuse me last time either..." After saying that, he bends down, pressing Keira back step by step until they reach the bed. He looks down at her: "You were very cooperative..." Keira says nothing. The man lowers his head, coming closer, his hot breath making Keira's heartbeat speed up. However, he makes no further move and stops at her neck: "Keira, are you that cruel? Won't you talk to me?" His voice is filled with grievance, bewilderment, and incomprehension. It is heart-wrenching.

Keira knows she can't hide it anymore. She slowly lowers her gaze. After a long while, she chuckles softly, pushes Lewis away, and puts her robe back on: "Even if I do that, then what?" When Lewis hears that, he sees her finally admitting it, and he is stunned in place. He chuckles softly, but his eyes redden again. He is certain the person before him is his beloved, but as long as Keira refused to admit it, he was filled with dread, afraid he had mistaken someone else for her. That is why he kept coming to look for her. This past month, he also watched her from afar countless times, watching her play Keera with flawless precision. There were moments when he wondered if he really had mistaken her identity. Until this very moment. The heart that had been hanging in suspense finally settles down. It was her... truly her. He is about to say something when he sees Keira's back turned to him; her gaze is filled with strands of complexity and reluctance: "You couldn't bear to watch your old flame die, and I couldn't possibly tolerate you being with other women. Since that's the case, why are you so persistent about who I really am? We're still getting a divorce, aren't we?" Upon hearing this, Lewis takes out a ring from his pocket... and the chapter ends.

This chapter is a raw, emotional rollercoaster! We finally get the long-awaited admission from Keira, and the confrontation between her and Lewis is beautifully written—tense, passionate, and heartbreaking. The diary reveal adds a layer of mystery that promises even more secrets to come. Lewis's vulnerability and desperation are palpable, making him more than just a billionaire playboy. Keira's internal conflict is compelling; she's torn between her love and her pain. The ending is a perfect cliffhanger with that ring. I'm giving this chapter a solid 4.9/5 stars for its perfect blend of romance, suspense, and emotional depth.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rating: 4.9 / 5 Stars

## Next Chapter Prediction

In the next chapter, I believe Lewis will finally present the ring and likely propose or make a heartfelt declaration to Keira, trying to salvage their marriage. But Keira, still wounded by his past actions, might resist or demand explanations. Meanwhile, the locked diary will be the key to uncovering Keera's secrets—possibly revealing why Keira was forced to take her sister's identity and what really happened to Keera. Expect more emotional turmoil and a possible new twist that could either bring them closer or tear them apart.
