# Chapter 573: The DNA Test Trap
Hello everyone, it's me again! How are you all doing? Today I will continue to walk with you and review Chapter 573 of "My Accidental Husband is a Billionaire Reviews." This chapter is absolutely packed with tension, shocking revelations, and a dangerous game of deception that could shatter everything Keira and Lewis have been building!
---
The tension in the Martin family living room had reached its breaking point. Vera's voice shattered the silence like glass as she screamed, "Are you crazy? How can you say such things? Lewis, you're stooping to any level just to stop me from marrying into the Martin family!"
But Lewis remained completely calm, his sharp eyes fixed on Vera like a predator watching its prey. "Miss South, the more you act this way, the more you look guilty. You should have known about Keira's origins, right? You knew all along that the daughter of old Mr. Martin was her mother, didn't you?"
Vera's face twisted with fury. "No, I don't know who her mother is!"
Lewis pressed forward mercilessly. "Then why did you destroy the photo to stop us from seeing it?"
Vera's voice turned cold as ice. "I did it so I wouldn't give you another excuse to pester the Martin family!"
Lewis narrowed his eyes, a dangerous smile playing on his lips. "Old Mr. Martin has already made it clear that even if we know the whereabouts of his daughter, he wouldn't make a choice based on that. Your reason doesn't hold up. Right, Mr. Martin?"
All eyes immediately turned to old Mr. Martin. Panic flashed across Vera's face as she desperately tried to salvage the situation. "Mr. Martin, don't be fooled by him! He's so cunning! He's been leading the conversation from the beginning! That's not what I meant at all!"
But old Mr. Martin wasn't listening to her anymore. His gaze had locked onto Keira, studying her with an intensity that made the air feel heavy. He walked slowly toward her, each step echoing in the silence, and stopped right in front of her.
As he looked at her, memories flooded back. It wasn't about her facial features – it was her entire temperament. She reminded him so much of his first love from years ago. That same proud, haughty spirit, that air that was like the Creran bamboo, seemingly invincible against anything!
No wonder he had felt a sense of familiarity the first time he saw this young woman. This was why!
Without warning, old Mr. Martin grabbed Keira's hand, his grip firm and trembling with emotion. "Are you my granddaughter?"
Keira's eyes flickered as she glanced at Lewis. In that brief exchange, she understood his intentions perfectly. Lewis was usually a man of few words, but he had deliberately said so much just now to drive a wedge between Vera and old Mr. Martin. He wanted Vera to say more unpleasant things, to become increasingly domineering, showing utter disrespect to old Mr. Martin.
Though old Mr. Martin seemed to have become submissive to Vera, no one could follow orders without feeling some discomfort. The Martin family was planning to form a marriage alliance with the South family for reasons unknown to Keira, but clearly, if they hadn't been pushed into desperation, they wouldn't have made such a choice.
So, despite old Mr. Martin's apparent submission, he was actually reluctant. And in such a situation, giving him just one reasonable excuse could make him hesitate further.
Like now...
Lewis was making things up, and Keira knew it. She had seen that photo – how could one tell the mother and daughter's temperament from a posed picture? What Vera said was true. She had intentionally destroyed the faces to take away any opportunity Keira might have, but Lewis had managed to exploit this loophole brilliantly.
He was a master at manipulating public opinion, and Keira had to admire his genius.
Keira looked at old Mr. Martin with carefully crafted uncertainty. "I'm not sure, but your daughter indeed resembles my mother a bit."
Lewis immediately seized the opportunity. "Keira, do you have a photo of your mother?"
Keira almost rolled her eyes! Even if she had one, she couldn't show it! Old Mr. Martin would immediately find out she was lying! But Lewis wasn't trying to expose her – he was making the ruse more believable.
Complying with his plan, Keira sighed dramatically. "I grew up in Clance, and I've only seen my mother once in secret. Unfortunately, I have no photo of her. As for her family..." She paused, adding more weight to her words. "There should be photos in her house, right? Should I go look for them?"
Old Mr. Martin nodded immediately, his eyes becoming teary as he held Keira's hand tighter. "Good. Find them and show me! But even if you don't find them, it's okay. I know you're my granddaughter! You look so much like her!"
Hearing that, Keira felt even more certain that he was mistaken. She resembled her father's mother, not her maternal grandmother – that had already been proven back at the Olsen family. She smiled awkwardly and glared at Lewis again. His method of stalling wasn't all that clever...
Vera was already beside herself with rage. "Mr. Martin, you've been deceived! She's not your granddaughter at all! If you don't believe it, why not just do a DNA test and find out?"
Scott jumped in eagerly. "Right, we can't find the photo, but DNA will definitely give us an answer!"
Even Erin, who had been silent since her grandfather's hurtful remark, leaned forward excitedly. "Yeah, a DNA test will prove everything! It would also make Vera give up!"
Vera glared at Erin furiously. "You...!"
Erin stuck out her tongue and sat back next to Charles.
Vera took a deep breath, her voice rising again. "Mr. Martin, it looks like you won't let us continue with the engagement until this DNA result comes out, so let's not wait any longer. Let's do it now!"
Old Mr. Martin nodded immediately. "Right, let's go and do the DNA test now!"
Keira's heart stopped. If they did the DNA test, the truth would come out! Her mind raced, trying to find a way out of this trap.
Vera noticed her hesitation immediately. "What is it? Keira, are you afraid? Are you backing out?"
Old Mr. Martin's eyes filled with suspicion as he looked at Keira.
Keira knew she couldn't let him become doubtful, or else the engagement party would continue. No matter what, she had to stall. She steeled herself and said confidently, "Afraid of what? I'm certain Mr. Martin's daughter is my mother. Why would I worry about a DNA test? Let's do it!"
Scott immediately ran to her side. "Let's go! In no more than two hours, we'll have the DNA test results!"

## Reader's Impressions & Star Rating
Oh my goodness, this chapter was absolutely heart-pounding! The way Lewis manipulated the entire situation was pure genius – he turned Vera's own desperate actions against her perfectly. But now Keira is trapped! She agreed to a DNA test that will expose everything! The tension is unbearable! Lewis and Keira have painted themselves into a corner, and I'm terrified to see what happens next. This chapter deserves nothing less than ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rating: 4.9 / 5 Stars!
## Next Chapter Prediction
I predict that Keira will somehow find a way to escape the DNA test – perhaps she'll fake an emergency, or maybe Lewis has a backup plan we haven't seen yet. But Vera is watching like a hawk, and old Mr. Martin is getting more suspicious by the second. The next chapter will be a desperate race against time! Can Keira and Lewis pull off this impossible deception, or will everything come crashing down?
