Hello everyone, it's me again! How are you all doing? Today I will continue to walk with you and review Chapter 629 of "My Accidental Husband is a Billionaire Reviews." This chapter brings us to the heart of an intense battle—not just of fists, but of pride, loyalty, and the unyielding will to defend one's honor. Let's dive in.

Luke strode directly onto the stage, his eyes locked onto King with a burning intensity. There was no hesitation in his step, no doubt in his heart. He had misunderstood James completely.

James had meant that even if the match was lost and the prisoner had to be handed over to Interpol, there would still be other ways to interrogate her. But Luke heard something else entirely. He heard the voice of his own pride screaming that Vera South must stay here, that losing to King after sending out ten people would be a stain on the Special Division's reputation. A stain he refused to accept.

Taking a deep breath that seemed to draw in the very air of the arena, Luke launched himself at King.

But skill is not something willpower alone can overcome. Before Luke's fist could even reach King's face, King sidestepped with fluid grace, his own fist slamming into Luke's shoulder. The pain was immediate and brutal. Luke felt his left arm go numb, almost useless. He staggered back, steadying himself, and realized his shoulder was dislocated. Grinding his teeth against the agony, he grabbed his own arm with his other hand and snapped it back into place with a sickening *clack*.

One exchange. That was all it took to leave him drenched in sweat.

Seeing Luke's condition, King shook his head and spoke in perfect English. You know how I love it when characters' skills are shown through their dialogue—King's flawless English reminded everyone that he was no common thug. "You're no match for me," he said. "Give up."

Luke, who had learned English through years of dealing with international matters in the Special Division, stared back at him without an ounce of surrender in his eyes. "Giving up is out of the question."

King's eyebrows rose in genuine surprise. He gave Luke a thumbs-up. "You have my respect."

But respect doesn't win battles. Luke didn't waste another breath. He stepped forward and attacked again.

The fight that followed was less a battle and more a brutal lesson. Luke was completely outmatched. Even Holly, who knew nothing of martial arts, could see it from the sidelines. Despair began to creep into the hearts of everyone watching.

Terry's voice cut through the air. "Luke, stop fighting! You can't win! Save your strength!"

But that distraction was all King needed. Luke's attention wavered for a split second, and King's fist found his shoulder again—the same spot, the same horrifying pain. Luke stumbled and fell to his knees, his face pale, his breath ragged.

"Luke, just give in!" Terry shouted.

Luke clenched his teeth and glared at his own shoulder as if it had betrayed him.

King, to his credit, held back. He didn't press his advantage but stood at a distance. "Give up," he repeated. "You're no match for me."

"I won't!" Luke's voice was steel.

King frowned. What more did this man want?

Slowly, painfully, Luke stood up again, preparing to reset his shoulder once more. Terry's eyes turned red. "Luke, just give up. If your shoulder gets hit again, it could lead to habitual dislocations. You might never use this arm again!"

Luke whirled on him, anger blazing in his eyes. "Shut your mouth!"

Terry lowered his head with a heavy sigh. Brian, clutching his own injured waist, glanced at Terry. And in that glance, Keira saw something shift—a seed of doubt had been planted in Brian's mind about Terry's loyalty.

But Keira's attention was pulled back to the combat platform. Luke's hand was on his shoulder, ready to pop the joint back in, when the head of Interpol's cold voice rang out. "King, what are you waiting for? Finish this match. Stop wasting time."

King sighed. He looked at Luke with something close to sorrow. "You are an opponent I respect, but my head won't allow me to give you any more time. I'm sorry."

Before Luke could fix his shoulder, King attacked with full force. Luke rolled desperately to avoid the blow—but cruel fate had other plans. He landed directly on his injured arm.

The pain was blinding. His reaction time slowed to a crawl, and the next moment, King's hand closed around that same arm, lifting him into the air like a ragdoll.

"Do you concede?" King asked.

"No!" Luke's voice was defiant even as he dangled helplessly.

King flung him from the ring. But Luke grabbed King's shoulder and pulled himself back.

King sighed again, truly perplexed. "Why must you do this?"

Luke fixed his gaze on King, his eyes burning with an almost fanatical resolve. "I'd rather die than surrender. You cannot tarnish the honor of the Special Division!"

For a moment, King was stunned.

Then the head of Interpol's voice sliced through the silence. "King, no more holding back."

King's pupils contracted. He let out one last sigh, looked at Luke, and whispered, "I'm sorry."

And with that, he slammed Luke into the ground with a thunderous impact.

*Thump!*

Luke felt as though a truck had run over his entire body. The pain was so immense he nearly fainted. But he didn't scream. He didn't cry out. He just lay there, broken, on the ground that had become his battlefield and his grave of dignity.

## Reader's Impressions & Star Rating

Oh, what a powerful chapter! My heart ached for Luke from start to finish. This wasn't just a fight—it was a martyrdom of pride. You can't help but respect his dedication, even as you desperately want to yell at him to stop, to save himself, to live to fight another day. But that's not who Luke is. He'd rather shatter his body than bend his spirit. The contrast between his ferocious loyalty and King's reluctant respect was beautifully written. And that moment when Brian started doubting Terry? The plot is thickening, and I am here for it.

⭐ **Rating: 4.8 / 5 Stars**

A near-perfect chapter of raw emotion and high-stakes combat. The only reason it's not a full 5 is because my heart can't take seeing Luke get destroyed like this!

## Next Chapter Prediction

I have a feeling this isn't the end of the fight—or the fight for Luke's life. King showed mercy, but the head of Interpol is ruthless. I predict that just as everyone thinks the match is over, James will step in, or perhaps Keira will reveal something that changes the entire dynamic. And what about Vera South? With Luke down, who will protect her? The next chapter is going to be explosive!
