Eve is completely speechless. Erin's sharp tongue has shut down both her and Selena in one smooth move. After her victory, she turns to Keira with a grin. "So, how did I do? My verbal sparring skills are pretty sharp, right?"
"Not bad," Keira admits, lowering her gaze. "But why are you sticking up for me?"
Erin pats her on the shoulder firmly. "I already told you, since you've sworn loyalty to me, you're my subordinate. Of course I'm going to help you."
Keira frowns. "I never agreed to that."
"You will eventually." Erin's smile is confident. "Your tongue might be sharp, but when it comes to critical moments, you need to leave it to me!"
Keira doesn't know what to say. She just doesn't want to waste time arguing with fools. And sure enough, Selena turns back to attack. "Miss Olsen, do you have something against Ms. Clark? What did she ever do wrong? She's just secretly in love with Uncle Lewis. Besides, you already have a reputation that's affecting our family.
