# Chapter 872: The Shark-Feeding Threat That Backfired

Hello everyone, it's me again! How are you all doing? Today I will continue to walk with you and review Chapter 872 of "My Accidental Husband is a Billionaire Reviews" — and trust me, this chapter is an absolute rollercoaster of awkward negotiations, hidden giggles, and one very confused villainess who can't quite commit to being evil.

Let's dive right in, shall we?

Keira's lips twitched as she caught Scarlet South staring at her, those eyes wide and expectant, practically vibrating with anticipation. The air between them was thick with unspoken tension — and let's be honest, a fair amount of absurdity.

Keira cleared her throat lightly and glanced back toward the room behind her. Oh, what she wouldn't give to see Lewis's face right now if he could hear this conversation. The great and mighty Solomon — the man who had once commanded armies of business acumen and terrified rivals with a single glare — was being bartered for like a prized stallion at an auction.

Should she throw Lewis under the bus, or turn Scarlet down?

The answer, of course, was to turn her down. For one thing, handing over her man just like that would be utterly absurd — especially considering the dramatic love story they'd so carefully sold to the South family. A whirlwind romance, a sacrifice of everything, a bond forged through life-and-death trials... and then she just sells him off for a few million? That would shatter the entire illusion.

Besides, if she gave in too easily, Lewis would probably explode from sheer jealousy. And Keira knew that man better than anyone. Back in Clance, he'd get jealous at the drop of a hat — jealous over men, jealous over women, he even got jealous of Amy, for heaven's sake. The man was possessive to an almost comical degree. No doubt about it.

Best not to poke the bear.

Keira lowered her eyes, mustering the most sincere expression she could manage. "I'm sorry, Miss South. Solomon and I are in love. He gave up everything he had back home for me. We've been through life and death together. Even if he lost his memory, I still can't just hand him over."

Scarlet's perfectly sculpted eyebrows furrowed the moment she heard that. "I get it. Solomon's handsome and seems like a good guy, but I really need him. You have no idea how hard it is to find a decent-looking man in South City. And I just can't lose..." She paused, weighing her next words carefully. "How about five million?"

Before Keira could even open her mouth to respond, Scarlet jumped in again, her voice taking on a slightly sharper edge. "Don't be greedy now. Five million South Dollars is worth fifty million back in Crera. I'd say you're making out like a bandit."

Keira blinked, genuinely amused by the audacity. "Yeah... that's not gonna work."

Scarlet's eyes widened, clearly not expecting such a swift refusal. She gritted her teeth, the numbers climbing with each desperate breath. "Seven million? Ten?"

Ten million. That was... what? A hundred million in Creran currency? For an ordinary girl, that was probably a once-in-a-lifetime kind of offer — the kind of money that could change an entire family's destiny, buy a mansion, secure a future of comfort and luxury. And Keira and Lewis were pretending to be just that — ordinary.

But Keira still shook her head, her voice steady and calm. "We're in love. We've been through hell together. I can't just sell him off."

Scarlet let out a long, theatrical sigh, her shoulders sagging with defeat. "Wow, you guys really are something. I'm almost touched. Well, if that's how it is... I guess I'll leave it."

For a moment, it seemed like the confrontation was over. Scarlet turned to walk away, her heels clicking against the floor with reluctant finality. Keira almost felt a pang of sympathy for the girl — she clearly wasn't used to being told no.

But then, Scarlet's assistant grabbed her by the arm, yanking her back like a puppet on strings.

"You're giving up just like that?" the assistant hissed, her voice low and urgent.

Scarlet whispered back, confusion coloring her tone. "But they're engaged. They look so happy. How could I break them up like that?"

The assistant's expression twisted with barely contained frustration. "He's badly injured, remember? If you hadn't paid for his treatment, he'd be dead by now. You really think now's the time to play nice?"

Scarlet's eyes lit up like a Christmas tree, a brilliant idea clearly sparking in her mind. "I get it now!"

The assistant let out a relieved breath, a smug smile forming on her lips. "Exactly, so what we should do is—"

"I should use the medical bills to guilt them into acting in my little love story!"

The assistant looked like she might spontaneously combust on the spot. Her face cycled through several shades of red before landing on a deep, frustrated crimson. "Acting? Miss South, your last name is South. That means something here. You're royalty in this country. Why on earth are you trying to play fair with a couple of nobodies? You saved his life. That means you get to take him."

Scarlet glanced back at Keira, uncertainty flickering in her eyes. "And what about her?"

The assistant's voice dropped to a conspiratorial whisper, dripping with menace. "You're a South. One word from you and she'll be tossed into the ocean and eaten by sharks. She's a refugee. Getting rid of her would be child's play."

Scarlet looked genuinely stunned by the suggestion. "Seriously? But she's still a person. You're saying I should just toss her to the sharks?"

The assistant was speechless. Absolutely, completely speechless. She gave Scarlet a long, tired look — the kind you give when you're wondering how your boss could possibly be this softhearted. "If you don't take Solomon now, you'll have no boyfriend, no husband, no male companion — and what will you use to compete with Miss Lena South?"

That hit home. Scarlet's expression shifted instantly, transforming from hesitant to full-on villain mode. Her eyes narrowed, her jaw set, and a fierce determination blazed across her features. "You're right. There's no way I'm losing to Lena!"

Then she spun around and glared at Keira, attempting her most intimidating scowl. "Hey! I'm warning you. If you don't give that man to me, I'll have you thrown into the ocean and fed to the sharks. Got it?"

Keira said nothing.

Not only had she heard that, but she'd heard every single word of the entire whispered conversation between Scarlet and her assistant. Every plot twist, every villainous scheme, every half-hearted attempt at ruthlessness. It was like watching a kitten try to roar like a lion.

Scarlet's attempt at a menacing glare was... honestly kind of cute.

Keira sighed, a small, almost imperceptible smile tugging at the corner of her lips. "Then go ahead. Feed me to the sharks."

Scarlet's eyes went wide, like a startled baby deer frozen in headlights. Her mouth opened and closed several times, utterly at a loss for words. She had expected fear, pleading, maybe even tears — not this calm, almost playful defiance.

And just like that, the terrifying South family heiress was completely, utterly stumped.

## Reader's Impressions & Star Rating

Oh my goodness, this chapter was an absolute delight! The comedic contrast between Scarlet's villainous ambitions and her complete lack of actual villainy is pure gold. She's supposed to be this intimidating royal figure, but she's honestly just a girl desperate to compete with her rival Lena — and her assistant is clearly doing all the heavy lifting when it comes to evil scheming.

Keira, as always, is effortlessly cool. She saw through everything from the very beginning and simply chose to play along, completely unbothered by the threat of being fed to sharks. Honestly, after everything Keira's been through, a few sharks probably wouldn't even faze her!

Scarlet's character development is absolutely fascinating — she's a villain who doesn't actually want to be a villain, and that internal conflict makes her surprisingly endearing. I can't wait to see how this plays out. Will she actually go through with her threats? Or will her soft heart get in the way again?

## Next Chapter Prediction

Based on the cliffhanger, I predict that Scarlet will be forced to confront the reality of her "evil plan" — and it's bound to backfire spectacularly. The assistant will probably push her to escalate things, but Scarlet's conscience will keep getting in the way. Meanwhile, Lewis might wake up and catch wind of this insane bidding war over him, and you know that man's ego is going to have something to say about being bartered like merchandise! I also suspect Lena South will make her appearance, adding another layer of rivalry and drama that could throw everyone's plans into chaos.
