"Of course you'd defend him. The old doc dotes on you,"

Dr. Sterling Senior did harbor a certain sympathy for the boy.
It was only natural that he had zero patience for a degenerate like Reggie.

If the patient had been anyone else, would Sterling really be so devoted?
Hell, since the patient was Harrison, he stayed, but for an ordinary person, where was his empathy?

It was clearly an apology offering for Claire.
"Harrison, about Reggie being here at the hospital..." It wasn't that Noah wanted to be a snitch but if he didn't say something, Reggie was going to terrorize the entire nursing staff.
"That worthless bastard!" In the past, Noah had kept these scandals hidden so as not to stress Harrison out.
Even though Harrison had heard rumors, he hadn't realized the severity of it.
To make matters worse, Reggie had already gotten several women pregnant!
Harrison flew into a violent coughing fit out of sheer rage.
Noah quickly patted his back to soothe him. "Please, don't get worked up over him."
"It's going to ruin your health."
"What matters now is handling Reggie."
"If he causes a scene..."
Noah was genuinely worried Harrison would be too embarrassed to stay in this hospital.
Indeed, Harrison felt utterly mortified by the situation.
If he wasn't bedridden, he would have beaten the man senseless himself.
"Noah, call Silas. Tell him to get his ass down here and handle this."
He didn't care why the boy had waited until now to spill the secrets; all he knew was that if he didnt deal with Reggie, the Darwin family name would be dragged through the mud.
