"So, what do you think? Not bad, right?"
Claire nodded. "The aromatherapy smells amazing."
It was the kind of scent that made one drowsy in the best way possible, without
being overwhelming.
Claire's approval absolutely delighted Cami.
"Right? I bring Tilda here sometimes, too."
The moment they stepped inside, a receptionist greeted them.
"Welcome, ladies."
When the receptionist asked if they had any preferred therapists and both replied
no, she brought out two tablets tailored to their requests.
The profiles with green dots indicated who was currently available.
"I highly recommend Julian. He is our premier therapist."
"Not only are his skills exceptional, but he's also incredibly gorgeous. He is a massive favorite among our clients."
*Gorgeous?* Claire wondered just how attractive this Julian could be. Wasn't this an exclusive sanctuary for women?
For a female clientele to be this obsessed with another woman, her skills had to be out of this world.
"Then let's give Julian a try?"
"But with a reputation like that, is he actually free today?"
"It's your lucky day. Julian had a prior booking, but the client canceled at the last minute."
Claire highly suspected this was a classic sales pitch.
Beside her, Cami looked like she wanted to say something, but ultimately kept her mouth shut.
Soon enough, Claire was introduced to the infamous Julian.
"He's... gorgeous?" Claire realized her definition of the word might have been a bit skewed.
She had assumed they were talking about a woman, but the therapist standing before her was undeniably male.
"Um, if you aren't satisfied, miss, we can easily arrange a swap."
Julian looked entirely affronted at the sheer suggestion that a client found his appearance lacking.
"You don't think I'm gorgeous? There isn't a single therapist in this entire sanctuary who looks better than me."
Seeing his dramatic reaction, Claire couldn't help her curiosity. "Did you fly in straight from a Southeast Asian resort?"
"I did study traditional techniques abroad, but I am absolutely not some exotic novelty act!"
Julian instantly caught her drift and was quick to clear his name.
"But rest assured, The Serene Sanctuary is a highly professional establishment. We absolutely do not engage in any illicit transactions
outside the bounds of our therapeutic services."
It seemed Julian held a position of higher authority here beyond just being a therapist.
At the very least, the receptionist treated him with a profound level of respect.
Claire could tell that this was, indeed, a legitimate business.
"Or perhaps, you're just uncomfortable with a male therapist?"
Claire shrugged, entirely unbothered. "I don't mind, as long as you're good at what you do."
Seeing Claire casually accept a male therapist—a stunningly handsome one at that -sparked something in Cami.
"I want a male therapist too, then."
She had brought Claire here just to have a good time, after all.
She had heard from her girlfriends that the men working here were absolute eye candy.
She had only visited once before and hadn't quite worked up the nerve to request
one.
With Claire breaking the ice, she gathered her courage and asked for one too. While her therapist wasn't quite on Julian's level, he was still undeniably handsome. The two women were led into a private room. The men stepped out, allowing them time to shower and change.
The establishment provided plush
robes. Once they finished bathing. they pressed the call button to summon the therapists ba
The men returned and turned on room's sound system, filling the space with soothing, ambient music that instantly melted away an tension
"Would you ladies care for some live entertainment?"
"We have musicians available to play the harp, acoustic guitar, or classical flute..."
Julian offered smoothly.
Claire shook her head.
That was entirely unnecessary.
Seeing Claire decline, Cami passed on it as well.
They settled in, silently waiting for the massage to begin.
