"Don't even think about targeting my brother!"
Yolande yanked Seb behind her.
If Seb ran off to join the entertainment industry, their mother would absolutely lose her mind.
In Tiffany's eyes, her son was destined to surpass all of his cousins in greatness.
She had placed all her hopes on Seb, and if she found out someone was egging her precious boy on to become a celebrity, she would raise absolute hell.
Yolande wasn't exactly afraid of being scolded by her mother, but she was worried about being caught in the crossfire.
After all, Claire was here today too.
Mr. Crawford maintained his earnest expression. "Gorgeous, you have to believe me. With your family's stunning genes, you are tailor-made for the spotlight."
"If you sign with me, I guarantee I can make you superstars."
"Where else can you make money faster than in showbiz?"
Claire found herself at a loss for words, wondering if this Mr. Crawford was completely blind. Couldn't he tell that none of them were hurting for cash?
"Do we look like we need the money?" Claire asked him.
Mr. Crawford froze, finally taking a closer look at the trio.
While they weren't dressed in anything overly flashy, the combined value of their outfits was exorbitant.
And judging by their casual demeanor, this was clearly just their everyday attire.
That alone proved they were far from broke.
No wonder the promise of wealth hadn't tempted them.
"You certainly don't lack money, but who ever complains about having too much?"
Mr. Crawford offered what he thought was a winning smile.
"If you three are willing to step into the industry, I'll back you with the best resources available. You'll quickly see why it's a shortcut so many people are desperate to take."
"Even kids from wealthy families are fighting for a piece of the pie these days."
"Compared to the cutthroat deceit of the business world, showbiz is a walk in the park."
Mr. Crawford coaxed them patiently, highly confident he could win these three young people over.
To his surprise, none of them showed a shred of interest in the glittering future he described.
He couldn't help but feel defeated, thinking these kids didn't know what was good for them.
He had laid out so many incredible terms were they really not tempted at all?
Anyone else would have jumped at the chance to sign with him!
What was he supposed to do now?
"Don't you enjoy the feeling of being
adored? Just imagine it. When you're famous, standing on that stage as the center of attention with
an audience full of fans who love you..."
Relying on his glib tongue, Mr. Crawford painted a breathtaking picture of fame and glory.
Unfortunately, the three of them weren't falling for it.
"We don't need that. Besides, all that attention and adoration comes at the cost of your freedom, and even your true self."
"The entertainment industry might be great, but we have no desire to wade into those muddy waters. There's simply no need."
Claire was more rational than anyone else.
"We have somewhere to be. Have a good day, Mr. Crawford."
Claire grabbed Yolande's hand and walked away.
How could Mr. Crawford just let them go?
He hadn't found any good new talent lately, and he refused to let these three rare
gems slip through his fingers.
"Are you really not going to think about it?"
"Fame does come with burdens, but the benefits far outweigh them!"
"I know you're all still students, but
isn't the whole point of studying toet
land a good job and make more
money after graduation?"

"Being a celebrity means living a glamorous, colorful life. You'll earn enough to

Claire turned her head to look at Mr

"Please stop following us, or I'm calling the cops."
Mr. Crawford stopped in his tracks. "Ladies, I'm only looking out for you. Why are
you being so hostile?"
Seeing that Claire was on the verge of losing her temper, Mr. Crawford knew when to quit, quickly handing out his business cards.
