Chapter 64
~BLAIR
The next flash of lightning made everything easier to see.
I was practically naked.

Nothing but the soft pink bra and matching panties I had put on hours ago with shaking hands. Cool air touched my bare waist and the insides of my thighs. My legs were tangled with Grayson’s. The only thing between my chest and his was a thin layer of lace that suddenly felt like nothing at all.
He was in shorts. That was all.
His bare chest rose and fell under my palms-smooth, hard, warm. When my fingers flexed without permission, his stomach tightened.
Desine hit me so sharply my mouth went dry.
I wanted to put my mouth on the center of his chest. Then lower. I wanted to find out with my tongue what the dark had only let me map with my hands.
I knew the exact second he realized how little I had on.
His body went still beneath me. Not pulling away. The hand that had been at my back for comfort slid down an inch and met bare skin. The inhale he took was soft and harsh. It made me shiver.
“Blair.”
My name in the dark sounded different. Like he was trying to hold himself together and needed me to be the one who stopped this.
“Mmm?” I whispered, because my voice was finding it hard to speak.
“What are you wearing?” His voice was hoarse.
‘Pink lingerie,” I said. Denying it would have been ridiculous.
He swallowed. I felt the ragged pull of his breath against my cheek. “Why?”
Why?
Could he not tell I was already dying of embarrassment?
He asked for us to consummate our marriage and this was my way of telling him I agreed.
leaned in and kissed the center of his chest.
He froze.
Did he not like it?
Then a low sound left him, and both hands gripped my hips like he couldn’t help it. Rough. Possessive. Like ne had been waiting for an excuse to put them there.
My lips dragged over warm skin, tasting him, moving lower with a confidence I did not usually have.
When I kissed just above the waistband of his shorts, his stomach jumped. One hand came up into my ha -not pushing me away. Never pushing away. Not stopping me. Holding me there. Gently.
“You’re going to be the death of me, Blair,” he muttered.
“Good.”
He moved, guiding me back up until our mouths found each other in the dark.
The kiss started slow, like both of us were still waiting for the other person to put the walls back up. Then I opened for him and it deepened fast. His tongue slid against mine. My bra strap slipped down one shoulder under his palm and he followed the path of it with his fingers, like he needed to touch every new

floushed him the same way–learning him. The line of his shoulders. The ridges of his abdomen. The V of muscle that disappeared into his shorts.
When my hand brushed the hard length of him through the clothes, Grayson groaned into my mouth and dropped his forehead against mine.
I liked that sound. I liked that I had caused it.
Before I could touch him again he unhooked my bra and pulled it down. His hands covered my bare breasts like they were something precious and dangerous,at the same time.
His thumbs brushed my nipples. When I gasped, he did it again. Then his mouth replaced his hands, sucking one peak until my back arched and my fingers dug into his hair.
I cried out from the pleasure. It felt so good. Having his mouth there.
Somehow I ended up on my back against the pillows. He was over me, mouth moving from my breast to my throat to the soft skin beneath my ear while my legs fell open around his hips.
Every time he moved, the hard length of him dragged against me and forced a sound out of my throat I barely recognized.
My eyes widened. He was big and…long. The thought made me blush even harder.
His hand slid down my stomach and stopped at the waistband of the pink lace.
“Can I?”
I was shocked. Grayson Shaw was asking permission. I hadn’t thought he was the type of man who asked.
That made me want him even more.
“Yes.”
He pushed the panties aside and stroked through the wet heat of me. Then another finger. I clenched around him with a broken moan and felt him drop his mouth back to my breast like he needed something to occupy himself or he would lose the last of his restraint.
We stayed like that, learning each other slowly.
My hands shoved at his shorts until I could wrap my fingers around him, and the sound he made against my skin nearly undid me.
He thrust into my fist once. Twice. Then caught my wrist and pinned it to the bed, breathing hard.
“If you keep doing that, I’ll lose all control.”
“Maybe I want that.”
He growled and kissed me again, deep and hungry, and I stopped caring about inexperience or every video I had watched earlier.
The only thing that mattered was his eyes in the next flash of lightning, his hands that would not stay still, the slow grind of his body against mine, and the fact that there was no doubt left in my mind.
I wanted Grayson Shaw.
I wanted him so badly it physically hurt.
What was I going to do?
