# Chapter 109: The Drunken Night That Backfired

Hello everyone, it's me again! How are you all doing? Today I will continue to walk with you and review Chapter 109 of *The Untouchable Ex Wife*—a chapter full of banter, embarrassment, dangerous proximity, and the little sparks that keep flying between our beloved ex-couple. Let’s just say, last night’s drinks came with a twist no one saw coming...

The night had taken a wild turn. After Stefan brought Renee to that peculiar restaurant, the dishes did more than surprise her taste buds—they had completely knocked her senses out. She had gotten drunk, and when a drunk Renee decided to stumble into the bathroom while Stefan was showering, there was no boundary she wouldn't cross.

Her hands roamed his chest, his hot skin beneath her palms. Stefan's body was tense, his throat dry. She patted his back innocently while mumbling praise like he was some adorable pet. He told himself, *Just hold on until she's done touching me*, but patience has its limits. His suppressed urge to push her away was almost unbearable. And when she turned around and boldly touched his bottom, Stefan nearly choked. *Damn it! You're killing me!*

Renee, blissfully unaware of the torture she was inflicting, tilted her head and beamed. "Cutie, sleep with me. I'm done showering. I feel so refreshed," she begged, her voice acting like honey trickling down his spine.

Stefan gritted his teeth. "Yes, we can sleep together, but can you please keep your hands to yourself? You touch anything you can get your hands on. If you do this... I..."

But there was no arguing with a drunk. Renee grabbed his hand and pulled him along as if they were old lovers going to bed together. The scene was so sensual, so dangerous, that Stefan didn't know whether to laugh, run, or pray. In the end, he simply followed her out of the bathroom, helpless and flustered.

Thankfully, once her head hit the pillow, she fell fast asleep. No more fuss. No more teasing. Just sweet silence.

Stefan let out a relieved sigh and wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. He felt like he had walked through a minefield and emerged—barely—alive.

Morning came and brought with it chaos. Renee woke up with a throbbing headache and the alarming realization that she was only wearing thin pajamas. When she turned her head, her eyes nearly popped out of her skull. Stefan was lying right beside her, sound asleep.

"Ah!" She screamed and shook him violently. "What... What did you do to me? Wait... I know! You took me to have those weird dishes and got me drunk. You must have been up to something!"

Stefan had barely slept an hour all night, and the dark circles under his eyes told the story. He frowned, clearly annoyed. "Don't steal my line. Didn't you have ulterior motives when you seduced me?"

"I seduced you?" Renee burst out furiously. "I don't have to seduce you! You're always so ready and eager. If I so much as suggested it, you would have thrown yourself at me. Do I have to seduce you?"

Stefan pursed his lips, at a loss for words. As harsh as her retort was, he couldn't deny it. He had been too willing last night. It seemed his reputation as the distant, aloof president was crumbling.

Renee checked her body and found nothing out of place, but to her frustration, her memory of last night was a total blank. "Last night... You didn't touch me, did you?" she asked shamelessly.

"What do you think?" Stefan fumed, staring at her. "Can't you tell whether I touched you or not?"

"Logically, I can tell, but I can't eliminate the fact that sometimes, you're very..." Renee started arrogantly, but the words died in her throat when Stefan shot her a fierce glare. There was a limit to how far a man could be pushed in that department, and she knew she was treading on thin ice.

"Nothing. I didn't say anything." Renee wisely backed down.

"Oh, really?" Stefan smoothly climbed on top of her, his gaze burning against every inch of her skin. "You don't think I can? Men can't claim that they can't do it."

Blushing, Renee tried to suppress a laugh. "You'll soon know whether I can do it or not."

And just like that, the heat escalated. He lifted her chin and kissed her deeply, his hands no longer hesitating to explore her body. *Mmph!* Renee's eyes widened, her mind going blank. She didn't expect him to be so bold.

*Gosh! Why was I entangled with him again for no reason? No, this cannot happen. I have to defend myself this time. Renee, be strong! If you aren't, you'll get tangled with him all over again!*

"No!" She kicked him off the bed, wrapped herself tightly in the blanket, and pointed a stern finger at the man sprawled on the floor. "Mr. Hunt, please behave yourself. Don't forget that you're about to get married. Please don't be a scumbag who cheats on their fiancée!"

Stefan, now on the floor, was seething. "I behaved myself, but you were shameless. You seduced me again and again. If I felt nothing, then I wouldn't be a normal man."

"No! You're just trying to shift the blame! You got me drunk and brought me to a hotel. You even slept in the same bed as me and tried to take advantage of me, didn't you?"

"You don't believe me?" Stefan let out a cold laugh, grabbed his phone, and tossed it to her. "Look at this. I don't accuse anyone wrongly."

Curious and suspicious, Renee picked up the phone. What she saw made her face burn like a furnace. The video was from last night. It showed her—fully uninhibited—running into the bathroom and trying to shower with him. She touched him everywhere, praising him as a "cutie," while the poor man nearly choked with frustration.

*"Cutie, smile. You're so nice to touch..."* *"Cutie, where's your fur? You're so slippery. You have no fur now?"* *"Cutie, let me hug you. Why does it hurt? It doesn't feel nice to hug you."*

Every single reckless word, every ridiculous gesture, had been recorded.

Stefan slowly smoothed his clothes and looked at her coldly. "Do you know that I can sue you for sexual harassment and have you arrested based on this video alone?"

He had recorded the entire process to prove his innocence. And what a wise decision that turned out to be.

Renee was completely speechless. She lowered her head, wishing the floor would open up and swallow her whole. It wasn't him who had harassed her—it was her! All this time, he had maintained his honor as a gentleman and hadn't touched her under such circumstances. The shame was unbearable.

"Why? You have nothing to say now, do you? You were so confident just now." Stefan couldn't help but feel amused seeing her obedient and submissive.

"I... I'm sorry. I was wrong last night. I didn't behave." Renee scratched her hair miserably. "I don't know why I started to sleepwalk again out of the blue. Maybe I've been very stressed lately."

Sleepwalking. That word triggered a memory. Renee recalled that she used to sleepwalk when she was young, and it had terrified her parents out of their wits. They barely dared to breathe for fear of frightening her.

She explained, "My parents tried everything to cure my sleepwalking—both traditional and modern medical treatments. Well, to be honest... my mom even found a traditional trick to cure me."

"Traditional trick?" Stefan raised an eyebrow.

"Yes. It's called spiritual calling. She found an expert who came to my house to call my spirit in four different directions. The expert claimed that my energy was too weak, so I was attacked by something evil, and that was why I sleepwalked."

"That's pure superstition," Stefan said with disdain.

"Yes, it is. But I never sleepwalked again after that. I don't know why I started doing it again recently. Could it be... I was attacked by something evil again?"

"Of course not!" Stefan glared at her. Surprisingly, worry flickered behind his cold gaze. "We have to believe in science. You're strong and lively, so nothing would dare to attack you."

"Yes, that's true," Renee agreed. She wasn't blind. She could see the concern hidden beneath his icy exterior. Warmth bloomed in her heart like a delicate flower, spreading joy through her chest—a warmth she had to hide before anyone could discover it.

But then Stefan asked the question she was dreading. "But you've been calling me 'Cutie' all night. Who is that?"

Renee's smile turned awkward. "Er... Cutie was my dog. We were very close, but it disappeared after a while."

Stefan's face dropped so fast it was almost comical. He felt like scolding her. "So, you regarded me as a dog all night?"

"No, I wouldn't dare!" She quickly dodged away and used the distraction to put her clothes on.

But as the banter flew between them, something else was building. Amidst the teasing and shuffling, Stefan's eyes settled on Renee, and suddenly, memories flooded his mind—dark and broken pieces of something painful. He groaned and clutched his head, overcome by a searing ache.

"What's wrong?" Renee rushed to him and grabbed his shoulders, worry thick in her voice.

"It feels like someone's cutting my head open with a knife... Agh, it hurts so much!" he said, his voice strained with agony.

"Let it go. Stop thinking about it... Close your eyes and relax," Renee whispered, her heart aching for him. She knelt on the plush carpet and wrapped her arms around him, soothing him just like she would comfort Adie or Abby.

Silence stretched between them. Stefan felt the warmth of her body seep into his skin and smelled her calming scent. When he came back to his senses, he carefully pushed her away. "I'm sorry."

"It's fine. I know your body isn't in good shape right now," Renee said, smoothing her clothes, her voice a little awkward.

"That's right. It's all because of you and your brother." His gaze locked onto hers, cold and pointed. "So keep that in mind. You'll always owe me."

Renee was stunned, but for once, she didn't fight it. She bowed her head and quietly echoed, "Yes, I'll always owe you."

Stefan lifted her chin and looked deep into her eyes, growling with quiet intensity, "So don't think you'll get rid of me that easily."

## Reader's Impressions & Star Rating

What a chapter! This was a perfect blend of comedy, embarrassment, and heartfelt emotional turns. Watching Renee drunk and shamelessly flirting while Stefan suffered in self-control was absolutely hilarious—and the video recording was the cherry on top. But then the tone shifted, reminded us of Stefan's unresolved pain and the debt hanging over Renee's head. It bounces from playful to tender too quickly that it keeps you on the edge of your seat. The mutual attraction remains electric, but the engagement still lurks in the background like a storm cloud. Absolutely entertaining from start to finish!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rating: 4.8 / 5 Stars

## Next Chapter Prediction

After those mysterious memory flashes, Stefan is getting dangerously close to uncovering buried truths about his accident—and whatever role Renee's brother played in it. Now that Renee's sleepwalking has returned and the tension between them is this thick, I predict the upcoming chapter will bring an unexpected confrontation, possibly involving Stefan's fiancée getting wind of their midnight "hotel incident." Can Renee keep defending her heart while Stefan becomes more entangled in her life? Let's find out together in the next chapter!
