# Chapter 165: The Yacht Wars – A Sore Thumb Among the Plastic Beauties

Hello everyone, it's me again! How are you all doing? Today I will continue to walk with you and review Chapter 165 of "The Untouchable Ex Wife" – a chapter filled with sharp tongues, simmering tension, and a woman who refuses to be cowed no matter how many vipers surround her. So grab a drink, settle in, and let me take you aboard the yacht where drama sails the high seas and sparks are about to fly in more ways than one!

Renee plastered a sweet smile on her face, but inside, her mind was a storm of curses. *Damn you, Stefan Hunt!* She thought angrily as she stepped onto the gleaming deck. *Here you are, living your best life, indulging in pleasure cruises, and you even brought Dr. Wagner along! How many women have paraded themselves on this yacht before me? What kind of unspeakable things have gone on in these cabins? If I had a choice, I would never set foot on this floating den of debauchery!*

But she had no choice. Dr. Wagner held the key to her father's treatment, and if she wanted to save him, she would have to swallow her pride and play this ridiculous game.

Yet the moment her feet touched the deck, the wolves descended.

A cluster of voluptuous, scantily-clad women circled her like sharks sensing blood in the water. Their eyes raked over her from head to toe, and sneers curled their painted lips.

"Well, well, look at this young lady," one of them drawled, her voice dripping with mockery. "What a unique sense of fashion! She's covered from head to toe – not showing an inch of her figure! Are you shy, dear? Or just plain ugly hiding behind all that fabric?"

Another woman chimed in with a venomous giggle. "Honestly, we're all here to make Mr. Hunt and Dr. Wagner happy. You think buying yourself onto this tiny boat to pursue them is going to work? And here you are, pretending to be all noble and superior with your modest outfit. How utterly pretentious!"

A third woman, bolder than the rest, turned directly to Stefan with a pout. "Mr. Hunt, she's sticking out like a sore thumb on this beautiful yacht. Can you please chase her away? She's ruining the aesthetic!"

Before Stefan could even open his mouth, Renee spun around, her eyes blazing with fire. Her smile was sweet, but her words were daggers wrapped in honey.

"I'm ugly?" she laughed, the sound sharp as broken glass. "Well, at least I'm not made of plastic! Every single one of you looks like you've been through the same assembly line of a cheap factory. If you want to make Dr. Wagner happy, you should do a talk show instead – you've certainly got enough drama in you! And did you just call me pretentious? Ladies, the only pretentious people here are you. You're practically dripping with fake charm and false smiles, and you don't even try to hide it. My goodness, that's some thick skin you've got – I'm surprised your faces can even move when you talk!"

The women stood there, mouths agape, utterly struck speechless. They had expected an easy target, a timid little mouse they could bully into tears. Instead, they had met a lioness wearing sheep's clothing.

Flushed with anger, they stomped their feet and turned to Stefan, seeking retribution. "Mr. Hunt! She's destroyed the entire atmosphere! Please, drive her away, or none of us are going to have any fun!"

The woman who had earlier fed Stefan a strawberry – the one who believed she had secured his interest merely because he hadn't refused the fruit she offered – latched onto his arm with coquettish boldness. She smiled at him with practiced sweetness, convinced she held a special place in his heart.

Stefan slowly turned his gaze downward, glaring at the pale fingers wrapped around his arm. His voice was low, menacing, like the rumble of thunder before a storm. "What kind of good time?"

A chill ran down the woman's spine. She snatched her hand away as if his arm had been made of burning coals. "Oh, well... that's completely up to you, Mr. Hunt," she stammered, her voice trembling. "I'll go along with whatever you say."

Stefan's eyes narrowed, and he snapped coldly, "I think I'll be much happier if the both of you shut up."

The women exchanged terrified glances and retreated like scolded puppies, their heads hung low and their tails tucked between their legs.

Renee watched the whole scene unfold with barely concealed satisfaction. *Well, well...* she thought, a small smile tugging at the corner of her lips. *At least I was wrong about him in some ways. He's not a complete scumbag after all, even if he lost his memory.*

Now the deck fell quiet, leaving only three people standing beneath the open sky – Stefan Hunt, Renee, and Dr. Owen Wagner.

Owen, ever the perceptive observer, noticed the strange tension crackling between Stefan and Renee. A knowing glint sparkled in his eyes, and he teased, "Stefan, I thought you said you were uninterested in women. I saw you ignore all those voluptuous beauties with not even a second glance, and I thought that was strange for a man like you... but now I get it! They're just not your cup of tea."

Stefan glanced at Renee, his eyes slowly traveling up and down her figure with deliberate, theatrical scrutiny. Then he shook his head, his voice flat and dismissive. "You're absolutely right, Owen. I'm uninterested in women – regardless of whether they're hot like those women back there... or unattractive like her."

Renee's eyes widened in sheer outrage. Her fists clenched at her sides. *How dare he! He's lying through his teeth! I am not unattractive – I have men falling at my feet everywhere I go! But fine. Fine. I'll let this slide since he lost his memory and doesn't remember who I am. Besides,* she reminded herself, *I'm here on a mission. I need to persuade Dr. Wagner to help treat my father. I have no time to deal with Stefan Hunt and his petty insults.*

She took a deep, calming breath and turned toward Owen, her expression shifting to one of hopeful sincerity. "Um, Dr. Wagner..."

But before she could utter another word, Stefan smoothly cut her off. He turned to Owen with a sly, victorious smirk that made Renee's blood boil.

"Owen," Stefan said slowly, drawing out the name like a predator savoring its prey, "you lost the bet during our fishing earlier. So tell me... are you going to keep your promise or not?"

## Reader's Impressions & Star Rating

Oh my goodness, this chapter was absolutely delicious! Watching Renee verbally destroy those plastic, fake women was beyond satisfying – she's got a tongue sharper than a diamond, and she doesn't back down from anyone. What a queen!

But let me talk about Stefan Hunt. This man is infuriating and intriguing in equal measure. One moment he's chasing away the women who were bullying Renee, making us think maybe, just maybe, there's a glimmer of his old self buried beneath that amnesia. Then the next he's insulting her appearance and cutting off her chance to speak with Dr. Wagner. It makes me want to shake him and scream, "Stefan, do you even know who she is to you?!"

The tension between Stefan and Renee is building beautifully, and that hint about the fishing bet at the end has me desperate to know what promise Owen apparently lost. There's so much brewing beneath the surface of this seemingly simple yacht outing, and I cannot get enough of it!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rating: 4.8 / 5 Stars

## Next Chapter Prediction

I predict that Stefan's mention of the fishing bet is going to be the catalyst for an explosive confrontation. Owen likely owes Stefan a favor, and knowing Stefan's manipulative style, he's probably going to use it to keep Renee close or force a situation that makes her position even more complicated. Meanwhile, Renee still hasn't had her chance to convince Dr. Wagner, and if that bet interferes with her mission, she's going to unleash a fury like we've never seen before – possibly even revealing more than she intends to about her relationship with Stefan. Something tells me the next chapter will bring secrets closer to the surface, and the amnesia wall between Stefan and the truth is about to crack!
