Her brows knitted together. "Why are you back?"
Her impatient tone made it seem as if his return was interrupting something incredibly important.
Brandon's eyes turned icy. He reached out to grab Brianna's arm. "There's a limit to playing hard to get, Brianna! Do you know what you look like right now? You're acting like the kind of spoiled, bullying princess I hate the most!"
Just as his hand was about to reach Brianna, a slender, pale hand darted out.

The sound of a joint being dislocated was followed by Brandon's agonized scream.
A tall, slender figure now stood in front of Brianna.
The girl's stunningly beautiful face, even more striking in the night, showed no emotion as she looked at him coolly.

Her voice was clear and chillingly calm.
Brandon's face contorted in pain, cold sweat beading on his forehead.
He was filled with rage, but when he met the girl's clear, cold eyes, the intense pressure in her gaze sent a shiver down his spine.
