That was the only way he got the chance to confront Brianna in person.
Ever since the incident at Apex Horizon Speedway, Brianna hadn't contacted him once.
Worse, all the preferential treatment the Blackwood family had previously given to the Keller family had been revoked.
These past few weeks, the Keller family had been going through hell.
Brandon had been beaten by Mr. Keller more times than he could count, forcing him to go and apologize to Brianna.
He had confidently believed that on the day of her coming-of-age party, Brianna would be the one to back down.
But he waited, and waited, and waited.
And now, he could only see Brianna by sneaking into the estate like a thief!
"Brianna, everyone in Vaelion City knows about the relationship between our families! Everyone knows about us! For your coming-of-age party, you don't send an invitation to the Kellers, you don't send one to me?" Brandon's eyes were bloodshot.
Brianna was startled, then forcefully pulled her hand away and took a step back, her face set. "Relationship? What relationship do we have? It's my birthday, why would I invite someone who's insignificant?"
"Insignificant?" The word seemed to sting Brandon, and his eyes grew even redder.
He looked at Brianna, trying to find any trace of the adoration and love she once had for him on her face.
But there was nothing.
The girl whose world once revolved around him now looked at him with genuine disgust and distance.
A sudden panic gripped Brandon, and he reached for Brianna's hand again. “Brianna, you're still mad at me because of Lauren, aren't you?”
"I know I was wrong before, but there's really nothing between me and Lauren I just felt sorry for her and thought of her as a little sister Just say the word, and I promise I'll never have anything to do with her again!"
He was desperate to distance himself from the other woman.
Lauren, who had been enjoying the show, froze. She looked at Brandon, hurt. "Brandon..."
“Shut up!” Brandon glared at her, then quickly turned back to Brianna. “Brianna, really... there's nothing between us! You should know how I feel about you. I...”
"Nothing?" Brianna found this utterly ironic and let out a scoff, interrupting him. "Nothing? And yet you brought her to my birthday party? Even how you two are inseparable. Brandon, do you feel any shame saying that?"
Brandon's face changed, and he was about to argue.
Brianna dodged his outstretched hand. The usually sweet and charming girl now
had a tense face and ice-cold eyes.
She gave a cold laugh, her beautiful
eyes filled with mockery as she glanced at Lauren. "Brandon, you probably don't know this, but Lauren has told me plenty of times that you two have been together for a while. That you just see me as a stupid dog you can order around and discard whenever you please."
Brandon's expression shifted again, and he shot a harsh glare at Lauren.
Lauren paled and frantically waved her hands. “No..... I didn't! Brianna, you misunderstood, I never said anything like that..."
Brandon quickly backed her up. “Brianna, there is absolutely nothing between us. I've only ever felt sorry for her and saw her as a sister! She's talking nonsense!"
"Is that so?" Brianna casually picked up her phone. "But... Lauren also sent me quite a few intimate photos of the two of you."
