Mr. Blackwood, still breathing heavily, pointed his cane at Riley. "You little scoundrel, Serena is your future sister-in-law! What's all this 'goddess' nonsense?"

She smiled coquettishly and extended à finger, adorned with fresh red manicure she'd gotten for her trip to Elynder, and hooked it under Rileys chin.
