As she drove, she couldn't help but think of Hailey's eager face and finally spoke up. "Master, that mother and daughter from earlier... you know them?"
Serena replied, "Didn't you hear all the gossip?"
Daphne pressed on. "So, you're really caught up in some real-and-fake-heiress drama?"
Serena didn't bother to answer.
Daphne continued, "So... what's the deal with that woman? She seemed so
confident. Does she really have what it takes to imitate you?"
Simply copying one of her master's designs wasn't difficult.
The hard part...
Was imitating her master's design style to create a whole new set of jewelry!
That was something even she couldn't do.
The jewelry that Hailey had given to Brianna was perfectly consistent with her master's past style in terms of design and creative elements. However, the execution had obvious flaws, giving the impression that she wasn't familiar with her own design.
Daphne's professional intuition told her...
Someone like Hailey could never design jewelry that resembled her master's style!
She snorted heavily. "I don't care how she managed to design something that looks like your work. When she shows up at my design competition, I'm going to expose her on the spot! I'll make it so she can never show her face in the jewelry design industry again!"
Seeing Daphne's enthusiastic expression, Serena didn't bother to stop her.
She couldn't care less about the Wynn family's pathetic drama and had no interest in it.
Daphne could play her games however she wanted.
The car drove all the way to the hospital.
Serena told Daphne to just get a room at a nearby hotel and rest for the night.
After all, the woman was in her fifties. Making her stay up so late would truly be elder abuse.
Serena wasn't about to do that.
After dropping the woman off at a nearby hotel, she also changed back into her own white t-shirt and pants, then snatched Daphne's car keys.
Daphne was at a loss for words.
Wasn't robbing a little old lady also considered elder abuse?
Once Daphne was settled, Serena headed toward Starlight Royal Medical Center.
She had already notified Hank's assistant, who greeted her upon arrival and led her to the special care unit.
She conducted an examination.
"His condition is under control. He'll be fine after resting in the hospital for a couple of days," Serena said. She thought for a moment, picked up a pen and paper from the side, wrote out a prescription, and handed it to the assistant. You should have these herbs on hand. For the next two weeks, prepare the medicine according to this prescription. It needs to be brewed for three hours."
The assistant had heard of Serena's skills and knew she was the one who had saved his boss's life. His attitude was incredibly respectfu "Yes, Miss Serena. I will be sure to follow your instructions precisely when preparing Mr. Hank's medicine."
Serena nodded, gave a few more instructions, and left the ward.
She checked the time.
It was already 1:30 AM.
She needed to get back to the Lancaster estate. Otherwise, knowing her mother's personality, she wouldn't be able to sleep peacefully until she was home.
Serena shoved her hands into her pockets and was about to leave the hospital. As she walked down the long corridor and into the main lobby, a chaotic chorus of crying erupted from the entrance.
An ambulance had pulled up.
The doors opened.
An emergency team rushed out with a gurney, and countless doctors and nurses swarmed forward, pushing the gurney inside.

A female nurse's voice was urgent yet clear and organized. "The patient was an emergency transfer from Hospital to our Starlight Royal Medical Center. Mr. Wynn and Dr. Samuel Arden have already attempted resuscitation, but the patient's vital signs are still dropping rapidly!"
