Up close, the man's cool, devilishly handsome face was utterly mesmerizing.
His smiling eyes reflected her own face.
He smirked, his low, lazy voice whispering in her ear, "Are you satisfied with how it feels?"
Serena was speechless.
She was completely awake now.

She abruptly pushed herself up off his chest and sat up.
As she pulled away, the blanket slipped off Nicholas's body.
The sight of his open shirt revealing perfectly sculpted abs and those sexy V-lines filled Serena's vision.
Her heart felt like it had been struck by something, and it began to race.
"I didn't do a thing," Nicholas said, leaning back lazily, propping his head up with an elbow as he languidly showed off his physique.
