Wynn smiled modestly, her voice sweet and humble, "I'm deeply honored by the professor's mentorship. I'll keep working hard, and I'll be sure to study the recommended paper thoroughly—won't let him down."
With both Rodney and Cayden showing her such recognition, Jorge was genuinely happy for her. But more than that, you could see the admiration—and affection—shining in his eyes. He could barely take his gaze off her! But, well, with Trevor present, he eventually looked away. A wise move, perhaps.
