The Lockets and the Shaws pounced on him with countless questions, drowning out reason with fear and love.
Trevor stood apart, his expression unreadable. He instructed Zeke to go downstairs and complete Wynn's hospital admission paperwork.
Once the admission was done, everyone gathered around Wynn's hospital bed, their concern written on every face. Jacob had gone back to the company, so only Zeke stayed with Trevor at the hospital.
Trevor had originally planned to leave on a business trip tomorrow, but before heading to lunch with Celeste, something had come up, and their trip was moved forward. Now the timing was tight.
Zeke checked the time and walked over to Trevor, lowering his voice. "Mr. Fleming, it's already 2:30 pm. If we don't leave for the airport by three, we won't make it in time."
The doctor had said Wynn's injuries weren't life-threatening, but her head trauma was still quite serious. She probably wouldn't wake up for another hour or so.
