# Chapter 98: The Unexpected Guest and the Quiet Storm
Hello everyone, it’s me again! How are you all doing? Today I will continue to walk with you and review Chapter 98 of "The Breaking Point of Love" — a chapter filled with hidden agendas, silent defiance, and the calm before a new storm. Let’s dive right in!

The elevator doors slid open, and out stepped Miles Quinton — charming, confident, and completely unexpected. Celeste blinked in surprise. She hadn’t anticipated seeing him here at the hot spring retreat. But Martha and Trevor? They didn’t even flinch. Of course. They knew all along.
Miles spotted Celeste and raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk dancing on his lips. But he quickly turned to Martha with theatrical enthusiasm. “Are you leaving already, Mrs. Fleming Senior? Won’t you stay for lunch?”
Martha, who had known Miles since he was a little boy, gave him a warm, loving smile. “Not today, dear. You all go ahead and have fun.”
The whole group escorted Martha to the entrance, watching her car disappear into the distance. As soon as she was gone, little Jordyn’s curiosity burst free. “What are you doing here, Mr. Quinton?”
Miles bent down and pinched her rosy cheeks. “Your dad asked me to come. I came right after greeting your grandma. Aren’t I a good friend to you?”
“Dad asked you?” Jordyn’s eyes widened.
“Yep.” Miles grinned. “I even called Beck and Wynn — they’re on their way. They should be here soon. Happy now?”
As he spoke, he deliberately glanced at Celeste. She caught his gaze. He wanted her to hear this. He wanted to see her reaction.
Jordyn was about to nod excitedly, but then she remembered her mother. She hesitated, looking up at Celeste with cautious eyes.
Celeste acted as if she hadn’t noticed a thing. She simply ruffled Jordyn’s hair and said softly, “Have fun with them. I’m going home.”
Without another word, she turned and walked away. She didn’t spare Trevor or Miles even a single glance.
Miles watched her retreating figure, his smile fading into confusion. He had expected unease, maybe concern. But her expression was completely nonchalant. She didn’t care at all.
He leaned closer to Trevor and whispered, “What’s going on?”
Trevor remained calm, his face unreadable. “Did you come alone?”
“Hell no. This is a hot spring retreat — going solo would be no fun. I brought my hot babe along...”
Miles stopped mid-sentence, turning his head. “Wait a minute. You’re changing the subject.”
Trevor didn’t deny it. “Here comes your hot babe.”
And sure enough, a tall, stunning woman approached them, her bathrobe open just enough to reveal a sexy bikini underneath.
Meanwhile, Celeste had returned to her room. She changed into something comfortable, sat down at the table, and opened her laptop. She began studying the projects from the latest technology exposition, her mind fully absorbed in the data.
Half an hour passed. An idea sparked in her mind.
She picked up her phone and called Matthias. “Are you free to talk?”
“I’m at a masquerade ball right now. What’s up?”
Celeste explained her idea. On the other end, Matthias’s voice turned both serious and excited. “Give me a minute. I’m heading back now.”
“Alright.” She hung up and continued working.
After some time, she heard laughter and chatter drifting up from downstairs. Beck and Wynn must have arrived. Celeste stood up and quietly shut the window.
Then her stomach growled. She ordered a meal using the phone. The staff told her it would be ready soon.
In the kitchen, her meal was prepared and promptly sent up to her room.

**Reader’s Impressions & Star Rating:**
Oh, what a quietly powerful chapter! Celeste’s composure in the face of Miles’s not-so-subtle provocations is truly admirable. She doesn’t flinch, doesn’t waver, and she certainly doesn’t give them the satisfaction of a reaction. Meanwhile, the arrival of the “hot babe” and the impending gathering of Beck and Wynn hint at more drama to come. But Celeste is already working on her own plans — and that call to Matthias signals something big is brewing. I love seeing her take control of her own narrative.
⭐ Rating: 4.7 / 5 Stars

**Next Chapter Prediction:**
Now that Matthias is heading back to discuss Celeste’s new idea, and with the entire group — including Miles, his “hot babe,” Beck, and Wynn — gathering downstairs, tensions are bound to rise. Will Celeste’s project become a game-changer? And how will Trevor react when he realizes she’s not just sitting idle? The next chapter promises a clash between Celeste’s quiet ambition and the carefree chaos around her.
