Chapter 1013:
“You?”.
Brock’s sneer was dripping with disdain. “You’re nothing more than someone I’ve already beaten. What right do you have to prove that woman is Skybreaker?”
“And what right do you have to insist Christina isn’t?”.
Elliott shot back without hesitation. “Don’t forget—you’ve been beaten by her.”
Brock faltered, his face twisted in frustration as his comeback refused to come.
“I’m Darknight,”.
Elliott declared, his voice steady and sure.
The crowd gasped in unison, shock rippling through the venue as countless eyes fixed on the screen in disbelief.
“No way! He’s Darknight? Oh my—look at him, with such a privileged background and good looks!”
“Darknight has covered up his background so well. I’ve admired him for years, and I never once guessed he was Elliott.”
“But his privacy work comes nowhere near Skybreaker’s. Skybreaker even misled everyone about her gender all this time. Who would have thought Skybreaker was a woman—an astonishingly beautiful one at that? From now on, I’m a Christina fan.”
The chatter grew wild, excitement surging through the place. Many now believed Christina truly was Skybreaker, though a stubborn few clung to their skepticism. It was hard for them to reconcile the legendary racer they idolized with the woman now standing before them.
Brock was stunned. He had never imagined Elliott would be Darknight. And if anyone knew Skybreaker best, it was the racer second only to Skybreaker.
“I can prove Christina is the real Skybreaker,”.
Elliott continued, his gaze settling on Brock. “You may have copied her well enough, but when she hit that final bend—she did it with the same precision she’s always had. That’s something you could never reproduce.”
“Who says I’m imitating anyone?”.

Brock snapped back, defiant. “I am Skybreaker!”.
He clung to the lie, unwilling to admit he was an impostor. Without proof, who could force him to confess?
“No, you’re nothing but an impostor. If you were Skybreaker, you would’ve taken that bend at an even higher speed. But the speed you used just now is already at your limit.”
Elliott locked eyes with Brock, each word pressing heavier than the last. “And you know it. If you dared to push yourself to Skybreaker’s speed, you’d have crashed instantly. Deep down, you can’t deny it.”
Elliott stepped closer, and Brock instinctively backed away.
Brock’s complexion drained, his lips quivering as his fists clenched tight. No. He couldn’t admit to being an impostor. If he did, Finlay would never let him off the hook.
“I may not be as skilled, but I am Skybreaker!”.
Brock shouted desperately. He would concede to losing to Christina, but he would never acknowledge her as Skybreaker.
“You can be crowned the new queen of racing,”.
Brock spat bitterly at Christina, “but you’ll never take my title or the glory I’ve earned.”.
His glare burned into her. “You’re impersonating me—stealing my name, stealing my honor. You’re shameless.”
