Married at First Sight

Chapter 5204

“I’ll trouble you again at 2 PM, Mr. Brown.” Chairman Fu was indeed tired; after all, he was getting on in years.

His energy wasn’t as good as a young person’s.

Fu Wanning then said to Hank Sonny, “Please take us to rest first, Mr. Brown. See you at 2 PM.”

“Okay.”

After sitting for a short while, Hank Sonny got up and led the grandfather and grandson downstairs.

The room he had arranged for them was on the same floor, also a presidential suite.

“I thought it would be better for Chairman Fu to accompany you, so I booked a presidential suite for you, on the same floor as my room, which is much more convenient.”

Hank Sonny led the grandfather and grandson to another presidential suite, where a butler was already waiting at the door. Seeing the three of them arrive, the butler quickly opened the door and respectfully invited them inside.

Hank Sonny didn’t stay long and soon returned to his room.

He also needed to rest.

After lying down on the bed in the guest room, Hank Sonny first sent a message to Belle, telling her that he was taking a nap in the presidential suite today.

Belle replied with an “Mmm” emoji.

The Fu grandfather and grandson on the other end quickly lay down and didn’t talk much.

If we need to talk, we can chat more later tonight.

An hour passed quickly.

At two o’clock in the afternoon, Hank Sonny appeared on time at the door of the Fu family’s grandfather and grandson’s room, rang the doorbell, and Fu Wanning quickly opened the door.

“Good afternoon, Mr. Brown.”

“Mr. Fu.”

“We’re ready and can leave right away.” Hank Sonny’s punctuality pleased Fu Wanning. She herself was a very punctual person; she wouldn’t be late for an appointment, and she didn’t like others being late either.

In the Jensburg business world, everyone knew that if you were to meet with Mr. Fu of the Fu Group to discuss business, it was better to arrive early than late. If you were late, no matter how promising your company was, Mr. Fu would not give them another chance.Because they didn’t keep their word, President Fu couldn’t trust them.

Fu Wanning’s sense of time was so strong that no one who worked with her dared to be late; they would rather wait for Fu Wanning than be even a minute late.

Hank Sonny was very punctual; he said 2 PM and it was 2 PM, which made her impression of him even better.

No wonder he was raised in such a prominent family.

Fu Wanning turned and helped her grandfather out.

Hank Sonny instinctively reached out to help Fu Wanning.

The three of them took the private elevator down to the first floor, where Hank Sonny’s secretary greeted them.

“President Fu, President Fu,”

the secretary greeted the grandfather and grandson.

Fu Wanning was a little surprised that Hank Sonny’s secretary was a man.

Looking at Hank Sonny’s face, Fu Wanning thought to herself that it was safer to have a male secretary for President Brown.

If it were a female secretary, she could easily fall for him, and if Hank Sonny didn’t reciprocate, she might do something underhanded or make a mistake at work.

It was safer to have a male secretary.

She’s a female CEO, and she doesn’t even dare to hire a male secretary. Although she’s not a stunning beauty, she’s the only heir to the Fu family’s bloodline. The Fu Group is one of the top conglomerates in Jensburg, and its immense wealth is a tempting prize.

Whoever marries her is essentially owning the Fu Group.

Fu Wanning has to be cautious; she doesn’t even dare to date, fearing the other person is after her family’s money.

Love can also cloud judgment, making people capable of anything outrageous.

By not dating and not being moved, she can stay clear-headed at all times.

Her grandfather and mother are urging her to date, get married, and have a child to carry on the Fu family legacy and not let the relatives benefit.
