Married at First Sight

Chapter 4688

“Dad, we’re back at grandpa and grandma’s house. We just had breakfast with them. We’ll be home soon and have dinner at my aunt’s tonight. Dad, I might not be free to visit you and grandpa and grandma until tomorrow.”

Hank Brown smiled understandingly, “Okay, then Dad won’t be driving tomorrow. I’ll be home making you something delicious and playing with you.”

“Whatever you want, Dad will buy it and cook it for you tomorrow,”

Sonny said. “I’ll eat whatever Dad cooks. I’m not picky.”

Now that his father and mother are wealthy, their family doesn’t have the luxury of daily delicacies. His parents prefer home-cooked meals and have told the kitchen that for their family of four, four dishes and one soup are sufficient.

The four dishes they eat are pretty standard, but they change the menu frequently to avoid getting bored with the same four dishes and one soup every day.

Both siblings are not picky eaters and are very easy to raise.

“Then, Dad will buy it himself. Tomorrow, are you coming over by yourself? Can you bring Juniper with you? Daddy misses Juniper so much.”

Juniper is Ducan’s biological daughter. Hank Brown has met her a few times and is incredibly fond of her.

She’s a perfect blend of both parents and is incredibly adorable. She used to be very shy and wouldn’t want him to hold her. He wonders if that’s the case now. If he remembers correctly, Juniper should be two years old.

Juniper is half a year older than Serenity’s daughter, but he’s never met her. The York family is very protective of her.

Since he’s her ex-uncle, Serenity won’t let him see her children. He hasn’t even met Beibei (Belle) . He only knows Serenity’s son’s nickname is Beibei; he doesn’t know his full name.

Sonny rarely mentions his aunt’s two children at the Brown family. He mentioned Beibei twice, but noticed that his grandparents and aunt were being gossipy, so he stopped talking again.

At the time, Beibei was only a few months old. Now, many years have passed, and Beibei has grown up. The Brown family hasn’t heard anything about Beibei in years.

Sonny is very tight-lipped. No matter how his aunt and grandmother try to coax him, he won’t say anything.

He was incredibly protective of Belle. At the Brown household, he wouldn’t even mention her. Whenever his aunt brought up the topic, he’d either change the subject or remain silent.

The Farrell family wasn’t as protective of Juniper, but they rarely saw outsiders. Hank Brown was Sonny’s biological father, and Liberty sometimes brought her daughter to the Zhou household with her son, so Hank Brown only saw Juniper a few times.

And only Hank Brown could see her; the rest of the Brown family couldn’t.

For the sake of his son, to avoid embarrassing Sonny, Hank Brown protected Juniper’s privacy.

Liberty was the

only one who allowed Hank Brown to see Juniper. Sonny looked at his sister, who was held in Grandpa Lu’s arms, unwilling to let her go, and politely declined his father’s request: “Dad, we just got back, and Grandpa and Grandma really love Juniper.”

“Uncle Farrell and Mom probably don’t have time to take me there. The driver took me there alone, so I won’t be taking Juniper with me.”

His sister was very active, and he was afraid he couldn’t keep an eye on her alone.

If something happened to his younger sister at the Brown family, the relationship between the two families, which had finally eased, would collapse again.

That was not a situation Sonny wanted to see.

Besides, if something happened to his younger sister, he would feel guilty for the rest of his life.

Hank Brown was silent for a moment, then smiled and said, “Okay, then tomorrow, Dad will be waiting for you at home. Can I notify your aunt and her family to come over for dinner?”

Knowing that his son did not like his eldest sister’s family, as Sonny grew up, Hank Brown always had to get his son’s consent before notifying his eldest sister and her family to come.
