Married at First Sight

Chapter 4905

She tried her best to let her children live like normal children, going out to the supermarket and jumping around with other children.

Live a normal life.

“Okay, Dad, are you going?”

“Dad’s not available. He has a social engagement, so he can’t go. Besides, if your dad goes with you, he’ll attract attention.”

Even if she could help Zachary put on makeup so that he wouldn’t be recognized, Zachary’s aura and demeanor were too strong. Walking in a crowd, his aura was particularly strong and would easily attract attention.

Plus, he didn’t like ugly makeup.

He was narcissistic.

“Oh, so is Grandma going?”

“If Grandma wants to go, take her. She spent quite a while at your eighth uncle’s new house today. She must have discovered something new and interesting.”

York Maverick asked, chewing on a candied haws. “What did Grandma discover?”

“Don’t ask so many questions, little kid.”

“Mom doesn’t allow us kids to ask so many questions, and yet you want to tell me. Aren’t you deliberately trying to pique my curiosity without letting me know the answers? Are you trying to make me die of curiosity?”

Serenity pinched her son’s cheek in amusement.

“You little brat, you’re so quick to contradict Mom.”

York Maverick was a chatterbox with his mom, always talkative. But

he didn’t dare to let down his guard in front of his dad.

Although Mom was strict, she was gentler than Dad. Dad was too serious, and his gentleness was reserved for Mom and his sister.

“Baby, baby,”

Josh’s voice called from a distance.

They attended the same elementary school, but not in the same class.

Josh’s class had finished a few minutes earlier, so he left school before the baby.

It was Josh’s grandmother who came to pick him up.

Serenity walked over with her son.

“Auntie Hai,”

Josh greeted politely.

The baby greeted Mrs. Johnson, and Serenity called him “Auntie” as well.

“Serenity was free to pick up the baby today. When I picked up Josh, I didn’t see your car and thought no one had come to pick him up yet, so I waited, thinking if no one came, I’d take him back for you.”

“I was free this afternoon, so I came to pick him up after school and told the housekeeper not to come.”

“Is Jasmine busy?”

Serenity asked casually.

Before Mrs. Johnson could reply, Josh happily said, “Auntie Hai, my mom’s pregnant with my little brother.”

Serenity was surprised to hear this and asked, “Really? I didn’t even know when they were pregnant.”

Mrs. Johnson wanted to say that her grandson was too talkative. Her daughter-in-law had just gotten pregnant with her second child. She had bought a pregnancy test last night and tested it herself, and it showed two red lines. She hadn’t even gone to the hospital for a checkup yet.

No one else had told anyone, except her family.

She hadn’t expected her grandson to be so talkative, to spill the beans so quickly.

Fortunately, it was Serenity. She and Jasmine were best friends.

It was okay for her to know.

Mrs. Johnson didn’t want to tell anyone else. She had to wait until Jasmine was pregnant and it was three months old before she could tell anyone.

“I just found out last night. I think I’m pregnant. I took the early pregnancy test and it showed two red lines, but the second one isn’t very obvious yet. I want to wait a week and go to the hospital for another test.”

Serenity smiled and said, “That’s almost certain.
