After thinking for a moment, Dr. Joans said, “There’s a milk tea shop up ahead. Let’s go there, sit down, and chat.”
“Alright, Dr. Joans, lead the way.”
“Where’s your car? Don’t you usually drive around showing off in a luxury car?”
Dr. Joans asked sarcastically, “Why are you riding an electric scooter tonight? It’s not registered yet, is it new?”
Alex York said, “The luxury car I usually drive belongs to my sister-in-law. I’m borrowing hers to drive and have some fun with luxury cars.”
“Dr. Joans, don’t you think it’s much more convenient to ride an electric scooter in the city? There’s nothing shameful about riding an electric scooter, as long as it’s convenient for getting around. They’re all just means of transportation.”
His rival is unaware of his true identity.
They looked down on him, thinking he was just a freeloader who sponged off his brother and sister-in-law.
Alex York simply lied, claiming that the luxury car he usually drove was borrowed from his sister-in-law, so that his rival would think he was really useless.
Dr. Joans stopped talking, rolled up the car window, and drove off in a flash.
“What’s so great about driving a car?”
Alex York muttered to himself.
What will his love rival’s expression be when he finds out his true identity?
Alex York didn’t intend to tell him.
Anyway, Marry doesn’t love Dr. Joans. Once he successfully wins her back, he won’t have any further contact with Dr. Joans. He doesn’t need to let Dr. Joans know his identity, at least he won’t tell her on his own initiative.
Once he and Marry hold their wedding and she finds out his true identity, it will be none of his business anymore.
Alex York followed on his electric scooter.
His car was certainly not as fast as the other car’s.
Land Joans would slow down from time to time so that Alex York could always see his car and avoid losing track of it.

“What would you like to talk to me about, Dr. Joans?”
Alex York accepted the glass of warm water from the waiter and thanked him.
The milk tea Land Joans ordered wasn’t delivered that quickly.
“You like Marry, don’t you?”
Land Joans cut to the chase and asked directly.
Alex York didn’t hide anything. He said, “Dr. Lord is an outstanding girl. I fell in love with her at first sight. What, is that not allowed? You’re allowed to like her, but I’m not allowed to like her?”
“I knew you liked Marry. Marry kept rejecting me because of you, right? You’re just a little prettier than me and have a sweeter tongue, so you know how to sweet-talk people, don’t you?”
“You’re a freeloader who lives off your brother and sister-in-law; you’re not good enough for Marry. If Mr. York truly loves Marry, he would want her to be happy. Mr. York doesn’t even have a stable job; what can he offer Marry for happiness?”
