Although Marry Lord is young and has not been transferred to Wiltspoon Hospital for long, her medical skills are superb. Patients who have been treated by her have gone from not trusting her at first to completely trusting her now.
Whenever Marry Lord comes to the outpatient department to see patients, the number of patients making appointments with her increases.
After giving a few more instructions, Marry Lord returned to the consultation room.
A little while later, Alex York returned and saw his grandmother sitting at the door of the clinic. He walked over and asked her in a low voice, “Grandma, why aren’t you sitting inside? Didn’t you want to chat with Marry a bit more?”
“Now is not the time, nor is it suitable. Don’t you see how many people are still waiting to see a doctor?”
“Let’s go, let’s finish these medical examinations first and then come over. Marry should be off work soon.”

Alex York helped the old lady go for her check-up.
Large hospitals are crowded, and you have to queue up no matter what kind of examination you want to have.

While the old lady was urging Alex York to go to the clinic to find Marry Lord, Marry Lord came out and greeted the grandmother and grandson.

The old lady asked her with a smile.
Marry Lord was no longer wearing her doctor’s uniform. She said, “I’m off work. Did Grandma York just finish all her tests?”

The answer was Alex York.
Marry Lord replied understandingly, “That’s how it is.”

What Marry Lord admired about the old lady was that although the old lady had connections that allowed her to cut in line and not have to wait like others, she didn’t do that.
We waited patiently and queued patiently, without seeking special treatment or using personal connections.
Only a self-disciplined old man could raise such outstanding grandsons as the Alex York brothers.
“Dr. Lord, thank you for today.”
The old lady kindly took Marry Lord’s hand.
The three of them walked out together.
“I didn’t do anything, Grandma York, you don’t need to thank me. It was all my job, what I should do. I should be thanking Grandma York for trusting me so much and registering me.”
Even though any doctor could issue a medical examination form, it was only because the old lady respected her that she booked an appointment with a young doctor like her.
“I fully support Dr. Lord’s work. Dr. Lord, let’s have a meal together. I asked my eldest grandson to reserve a private room for me at the Wiltspoon Hotel. We got along very well and I would like to talk to you more.”
Marry Lord instinctively said, “How can I let Grandma York treat me to a meal? I should be the one treating Grandma York to a meal.”
“We get along well, why be so polite? It’s all the same whether someone pays or not. Come on, let’s go eat with Grandma York.”
The old lady said this to mean that Marry Lord had agreed.
Marry Lord really couldn’t refuse the old lady’s enthusiasm.
