Joan’s father also said, “We won’t go out anymore. Going out always costs money. Look how many things you and A-Jian bought for us this morning. Every time you come, you buy us so many things to take back with us.”
Although most of the items were bought with money from her son, Flower Morgan also bought some.
“Land Joans, your clinic is closed today, but you still have time this afternoon. Why don’t you take Flower Morgan out for a walk to relax? You two are always at the clinic, so you probably don’t have time to go out and have fun.”
