Married at First Sight

Chapter 4991

Alex York was in a car accident, but he wasn’t seriously injured. He didn’t want to be hospitalized, but his brothers forced him to go.

The director told her that he was the young master of the York family, the richest family in the country, and told her to take him seriously.

As a doctor, she treats all patients with utmost care and doesn’t discriminate based on whether the patient is a wealthy young man.

However, she listened to the director’s kind reminder.

Alex York did not lie to her.

Lin, however, was unaware of Alex York’s true identity and always assumed that Alex York was a freeloader.

That’s why I thought she had been deceived too.

“His parents probably prefer Flower Morgan too.”

Second Aunt said.

“I don’t know, that’s his business, it has nothing to do with me. Who his parents like is none of my business.”

She and Senior Joans will never be husband and wife.

“Hmm, don’t worry about him. He’s two-timing you. He’s chasing after you on one hand, and on the other hand, he’s taking his parents to the beach with Flower Morgan.”

“Who cares how many men he’s involved with? I’m not going to get on his side, so what does it have to do with me?”

Marry whispered in her second aunt’s ear, “That night, Senior Joans got drunk, and Flower Morgan went to pick him up and took him home. She also stayed at his house overnight, and the two of them slept in the same bed.”

“Flower Morgan sent me a photo of the two of them sleeping in the same bed, so, Auntie, it’s absolutely impossible for me and Senior Joans.”

Auntie asked in shock in a low voice, “Have they slept together?”

“No, Flower Morgan said that Senior Joans was very drunk that night. Although he mistook her for me, they didn’t go all the way. Senior Joans just fell asleep.”

“But the fact that they shared a bed is undeniable. Flower Morgan also told me that she would use that incident to demand that Senior Joans take responsibility.”

Marry whispered, “Second Aunt, I don’t have feelings for Senior Joans, so I don’t care. But my Second Uncle has always wanted me to be with Senior Joans, and he treats him like a student.”

“Your second uncle might be disappointed. Talk to him when you have time. Don’t be too upset. Relationships are all about fate.”

It’s not about first come, first served; it’s about fate.

Even childhood sweethearts who grew up together will not end up as husband and wife if they are destined to be apart.

Those destined to be together will meet even if they are thousands of miles apart and become a couple.

She and Senior Joans were destined to be together but not to stay together.

“Yes, I’ll try to comfort your second uncle. He does favor Dr. Joans, but he also knows you two aren’t a good match. Marry, what do you think of Alex York?”

“Your second aunt thinks he’s a good man, someone you can entrust your life to. Why don’t you consider him?”

Before Marry Lord could answer, her second uncle said, “What are you two whispering about? Can’t I hear you?”

“Wife, I’m your husband. You and Marry are whispering to each other, and you won’t let me hear you.”

“Marry, I’m your uncle too.”

Marry Lord smiled and said, “Second Uncle, Second Aunt and I are having some private conversations, which aren’t really convenient for you to hear.”

“I’m going upstairs too.”

Marry Lord smiled, got up, went out, pushed her electric scooter in, and placed it by the clinic door.

“I’m going upstairs.”

Her second aunt watched her go upstairs with a smile.

After she left, the second uncle pressed his wife for details: “What were you whispering about with Marry?”

I won’t tell you, so you’ll keep thinking about it.

My aunt smiled and got up, carrying the two baskets of fruit upstairs to the refrigerator so they wouldn’t spoil so quickly.
