Married at First Sight

Chapter 5081

Joans’s mother’s worries were not unfounded. Not long after, Dr. Joans indeed vomited. He first said he was thirsty and wanted water.

Flower Morgan poured him a glass of water, helped him sit up, and after drinking half a glass, he suddenly felt nauseous and vomited all over the floor.

Fortunately, Flower Morgan reacted quickly and didn’t get covered in his vomit or on the bed; it all landed on the floor.

Seeing her son vomit all over the floor, Joans’s mother instinctively covered her mouth and nose and ran outside; she couldn’t stand seeing others vomit.

Just as she stepped out of the room, Joans’s mother also vomited. She covered her mouth and ran quickly to the bathroom, where she vomited violently.

Flower Morgan: …

I was hoping Joans’s mother would help clean up and mop the floor, but she vomited even more than Dr. Joans.

In the end, Flower Morgan cleaned up and mopped the floor.

After Dr. Joans finished vomiting, he went back to bed and fell asleep again.

Only after Flower Morgan finished cleaning did she check on Joans’s mother.

Joans’s mother had stopped vomiting and came out of the bathroom to sit on the sofa in the living room, looking like she was about to die; she had even vomited bile.

“Auntie, are you alright?”

Flower Morgan came over and asked with concern.

“I’m vomiting like crazy! I can’t stand seeing those things; just looking at them makes me vomit. It’s even worse than when I was pregnant with morning sickness.”

“How’s Joans?”

Despite vomiting so badly, Joans’s mother still didn’t forget to ask about her son’s condition.”Dr. Joans fell asleep again. Luckily, he didn’t soil the bed. I cleaned the floor.”

Joans’s mother held Flower Morgan’s hand and thanked her profusely.

Flower Morgan could only lie down and rest for a while after 3 a.m.

Joans’s mother went into her son’s room to check on him and make sure he wouldn’t vomit again before going back to her room to rest.

Joans’s father woke up groggily and asked her, “Did you drink a lot of water before bed? You keep getting up at night.”

Joans’s mother slapped her, “You pig, you sleep even more soundly than a pig. I was worried and couldn’t sleep because our son wasn’t back, but you, you fell asleep as soon as your head hit the pillow.”

“Hasn’t Joans come back yet?”

After knowing that Flower Morgan had gone to the bar to pick up her son, Joans’s father stopped worrying and went back to sleep. He really didn’t know when his son had returned.

“He’s back, completely drunk, barely able to walk. Flower Morgan helped him back; thank goodness for her,”

said Joans’s mother. “Joans just threw up all over the place. I couldn’t help, and I threw up myself too. Flower Morgan took care of him and cleaned him up.”

“When our son sobers up, Lao Lin, tell him we’ve accepted Flower Morgan as our daughter-in-law. Tell him to stop thinking about that Dr. Lord. She’s good at marrying into wealth; she wouldn’t even look at a lowly doctor like him.”

“Flower Morgan truly has our son’s heart and soul. If she didn’t love Joans, she wouldn’t have taken care of him.”

“Anyway, I’ve made up my mind about Flower Morgan,”

said Joans’s father. “I already advised Joans; he knows what to choose.”

His son’s rival was too powerful, which dealt him a heavy blow. Joans’s father knew his son had given up on Dr. Lord, and his son’s attitude towards Flower Morgan had become much gentler these past two days.
