Neither Alex York or Marry Lord knew that after they left the house, their elders had already begun discussing their marriage.
Marry Lord loved the sea of flowers, so after leaving the house, Alex York took her down the mountain first.
He had originally wanted to drive a sightseeing vehicle himself to take Marry Lord down the mountain, so she wouldn’t be able to enjoy the scenery along the way.
But Marry Lord refused.
She suggested walking.
Even if the Wildridge Manor had a sightseeing vehicle, it would just whiz by, and the scenery wouldn’t be as good as walking.
Alex York laughed, “If you want to walk, then let’s walk. I’m just worried you’ll get tired later.”
“Let’s walk down the mountain first. If we get tired, I’ll call the housekeeper and have him drive down to pick us up.”
Perhaps because they had just driven up the mountain, it felt like they arrived at the manor in no time. Marry Lord said, “We’re people who exercise regularly. We won’t get tired from walking for a while.”
“This mountain isn’t high, it’s flat-topped. Let’s treat it as a hike. I sometimes go hiking when I’m on vacation.”

He led Marry Lord out of the mountain villa on foot.
