Married at First Sight

Chapter 5121

“I was away on a business trip for a while and just got back. I missed Cairo, so I wanted to come pick him up. I called my older sister, and she said you could come pick Cairo up. I thought I’d try my luck here and see if I could run into you.”

Trenton doted on his nephew Cairo.

“No wonder I hadn’t seen you for a while. So you were away on a business trip. My second brother asked me to pick up Cairo, so I came. If I had known you were free, I would have had you come to my place to get the pick-up card.”

Trenton laughed, “I just got back from the airport too. It was a last-minute decision.”

So the two of them waited for Cairo to come out of the kindergarten.

Ten minutes later, Cairo came out with his teacher.

“Uncle 8th!”

The little guy had sharp eyes and spotted his Uncle 8th in the crowd at a glance.

Well, his uncles were all tall and handsome, making them particularly eyecatching in the crowd.

After handing the pick-up card to the teacher, Alex York smiled and picked up Cairo. “Aren’t you happy that your Uncle 8th came to

pick you up?” “Yes! Uncle 8th, how come you had time to pick me up?”

“Your dad asked me to pick you up. Even if I didn’t have time, I had to make time. Nothing is more important than picking you up.”

Cairo was very happy.

“Cairo.”

Trenton called out to his nephew.

Cairo looked over and saw his uncle, whom he hadn’t seen for a while. He excitedly called out “Uncle!” and reached out to his uncle, wanting him to hold him.

Alex York handed his nephew to Trenton and gently patted his nephew’s bottom. “You don’t need Uncle 8th anymore when you see your uncle.”

Cairo affectionately hugged Trenton’s neck. “I see Uncle 8th often, but I haven’t seen my uncle for a while.”

Alex York smiled and gently pinched his nose.

The two of them carried Cairo and walked back.

“Tianlei, you just got back. You probably didn’t drive here, right? How about I take you home? You can look after Cairo?”

“Okay,”

Trenton didn’t refuse.

Cairo, however, said, “Eighth Uncle, you cook for me. My uncle’s cooking isn’t as good.”

Trenton blushed.

“Cairo, your uncle has been working hard to learn to cook.”

He felt his cooking skills had improved a lot.

Of course, he couldn’t compare to the young master of the York family, who had been learning to cook since childhood.

Cairo spoke the truth: “My uncle’s cooking isn’t as good as my Eighth Uncle’s.”

He said to Alex York, “Eighth Uncle, well, my parents definitely won’t be home that soon. My uncle’s cooking is barely edible. Eighth Uncle’s is much better.”

When his father was home, his father cooked for him and his mother.

When his parents weren’t home, the chef would cook.

He wouldn’t go hungry.

However, Cairo still preferred his father’s cooking, and also the cooking of his uncles.

Even his serious eldest uncle’s cooking was better than his uncle’s.

He had asked his mother why his uncle, who often cooked, never made it as good as his father and the others. His

mother said that cooking also requires talent; some people don’t have that talent, and no matter how hard they try, it’s just so-so.

Mom also said that when he’s a little older, she’ll let him learn to cook, saying that the York family children are expected to develop comprehensively, and cooking is not only good for his own stomach, but also for the stomachs of those he cares about in the future.

Alex York lightly tapped his forehead, “You’ve become too attached to your Uncle 8th. Uncle 8th was thinking of sending you and your uncle home so you’d be free, but you still want Uncle 8th to cook for you. Fine, Uncle 8th will cook you something delicious.”

Alex York resigned himself to his fate.

His arrival to pick up Cairo meant he was destined to be a “nanny uncle” tonight.
