“I do have someone I like, but I haven’t won her over yet. However, she won’t escape my grasp. She’ll become my wife sooner or later. Cairo has met her. My kids are all smart. As long as we uncles bring a girl home, they know she’s an aunt.”
Trenton laughed, “Congratulations on having a life goal. The men in your family are all devoted. They won’t bring home someone who isn’t the one they want to marry. The kids have seen a lot and learned from experience.”
“Thank you. When I get married, you’ll be my best man.”
Trenton readily agreed.
Back at the Ning family villa, Alex York poured himself a glass of water and asked Trenton, “Do you want me to get you some water?”
“No, I’m not thirsty.”
“Then you play with Cairo, I’ll go cook dinner,”
Alex York said. “After dinner, I have to pick up my future wife from work. She’s a doctor, and she doesn’t get off work until eight or nine at night.”
“A doctor? That must be very busy.”
Trenton asked curiously, “How do you know her?”
Alex York is very healthy and rarely gets sick or goes to the hospital.
