Watching Marry Lord disappear into the distance, Dr. Joans took Flower Morgan’s hand and said, “Flower, let’s go. Let’s go back and have breakfast before we have to go to work.”
“Okay.”
Flower Morgan didn’t say much, obediently following him back.
As they walked, Dr. Joans said, “Marry probably won’t attend our wedding unless Alex York accompanies her.”
But Alex York couldn’t possibly go.
