Married at First Sight

Chapter 5202

“Mr. Fu, do you drink?”

Hank Sonny asked. “I didn’t invite you to drink. I thought Mr. Fu was getting on in years and shouldn’t drink, so I didn’t. I didn’t consider Mr. Fu’s feelings,”

Fu Wanning said. “We won’t drink today. This meal is fine. I always have to drink at business dinners, and I actually really dislike drinking.”

The grandfather and grandson were here to discuss business and sign contracts, so drinking wasn’t appropriate.

Drinking could easily lead to mistakes.

Hank Sonny smiled. “Finally, I’ve found some like-minded people. I don’t like drinking at the dinner table either, but I can’t drink at business dinners.”

“Mr. Fu, Mr. Fu, do you have any objections to the cooperation between our two companies?”

“There’s still a small problem. Let’s talk about it after dinner. Once that’s resolved, we can sign the contract,”

Mr. Fu said.

“Okay,”

Hank Sonny smiled and urged the grandfather and grandson to eat.

After drinking a bowl of soup, he said to the grandfather and granddaughter, “Since Chairman Fu has come to our Wiltspoon City, would you like to stay for a couple of days? I’ll be your tour guide, showing you around and letting you sample some of Wiltspoon’s local specialties.”

Chairman Fu glanced at his granddaughter, thought for a moment, and then smiled, “President Brown, it’s too kind of you to refuse. My granddaughter and I will stay for a couple of days, just to look around. My old bones can’t keep up.”

“If it’s convenient for you, President Brown, could you take me to visit Wildridge Manor Villa?”

“I’ve heard that the scenery at Wildridge Manor Villa far surpasses many scenic spots in Wiltspoon City.”

Going to a scenic spot is not as good as going to Wildridge Manor Villa; I can even make connections with the York family.

Hank Sonny smiled and said, “Chairman Fu wants to go to Wildridge Manor Villa? I can arrange it anytime. It’s my aunt’s house. My aunt is the matriarch. Just tell her, and if she agrees, I’ll take you there. I can even arrange for you to stay there for a couple of days.”

“It wouldn’t be good to bother you if you stayed there. My grandson and I can stay at this hotel. We’ll just visit Wildridge Manor Villa.”

Hank Sonny immediately said, “I’ll book two rooms for you.”Chairman Fu smiled and thanked him, not refusing Hank Sonny’s arrangements.

It was only right that Hank Sonny, responsible for hosting them and arranging accommodations, should the cooperation between the two groups be considered.

“Is Wiltspoon fun?”

Fu Wanning asked.

“I think it’s great. I’m from Wiltspoon, born here, and grew up here for a while. This is my root. I think Wiltspoon is a good place.”

Although Hank Sonny later moved to Jiangcheng with his mother to live and study, he often returned to Wiltspoon; Wiltspoon was his true home.

After graduation, he declined his mother’s invitation to join the Feng Group and instead returned to Wiltspoon to start his own business. Not long after, Titus coaxed him into managing the Longteng Group with him, but he never abandoned his business in Wiltspoon.

Later, his stepfather handed over the Lewis Group to him, making him even busier, with his focus still on Wiltspoon.

With Titus overseeing the Longteng Group, he, as vice president, only needed to go back to work for ten days or half a month occasionally. Titus would communicate with him online for any matters; much of his work at the Longteng Group was handled online.

Hank Sonny also felt more comfortable in Wiltspoon.

To keep Titus’s identity a secret within Longteng Group, he wore a mask every day, just like Titus, to conceal his face and prevent Timothy Labbe and the others from recognizing his true identity and thus confirming Titus’s identity.

“If President Fu only stays in Wiltspoon for two days, she might not discover its merits or visit many other places.”

“Now that our two companies are cooperating, whenever President Fu comes to Wiltspoon on business, I can show her around.”

Fu Wanning smiled and said, “It’s an occasional thing.”

She, as the head of the Fu Group, was also very busy.

This time, her grandfather insisted that she put aside her work to accompany him to sign the contract with the Lewis Group, saying that the Fu Group valued the Lewis Group so much that there would be more opportunities for future cooperation.

It would also be long-lasting. Although the Lewis Group wasn’t the largest group in Wiltspoon, the Lewis Group and the York Group had a deep cooperative relationship.
