# Chapter 200: Wildflowers, Jealous Eyes, and a Bottle of Water

Hello everyone, it’s me again! How are you all doing? Today I will continue to walk with you and review Chapter 200 of "The Untouchable Ex Wife" — a chapter that’s brimming with sparkling first meetings, unexpected chemistry, and a storm of jealousy brewing in the heart of a certain arrogant, possessive man. If you thought you’d seen all of Xavier’s dark moods before, think again. Because in this chapter, a simple bunch of roadside wildflowers is about to stir up more tension than a bomb being dropped on a quiet village road.

Let’s set the scene.

Under the warm sunlight of the village entrance, Santiago—the brilliant, low-key, widely adored star—walked directly toward Leia with that boyish tilt of his head and a smile that could light up the dullest of days. He looked at her like she was the very person he’d been waiting to meet all along.

“Are you Miss Leia Osborne, the young lady Mr. Jiminez finds interesting?”

Leia, caught entirely off guard, looked up to meet his bright gaze. Usually so sharp and quick-witted, she suddenly felt her brain turn into warm, sweet glue. Her heart thumped so loudly inside her chest that she could barely hear her own voice.

“Ah, yes... That’s me!”

She stammered, shyly looking down before daring a quick glance at him again. The moment their eyes met, her breath tangled somewhere between her throat and her dreamy sighs. In her mind, she was absolutely melting: *He’s so handsome... TV doesn’t do him justice! He’s so perfect and charming that I can’t look away.*

The entire world seemed to blur around him. Then, Santiago extended his hand—that elegant, graceful hand—and offered her a warm, welcoming smile.

“I hope we’ll work together well.”

Leia reached out, trembling like a leaf. When her sweaty palm touched his cool, smooth skin and those slender artist fingers, she felt an electric flutter race through her chest. In that innocent little moment of delight, she made a solemn, monumental decision to herself: *I’m never washing this hand for a week.*

Nervously, she squeezed out a reply. “Yes, I hope so too!”

Then, before she could second-guess herself, Leia shoved the bouquet she was carrying into his hands. They weren’t expensive roses or elegant lilies—just fresh, vibrant wildflowers she had picked along the road, still smelling of sunshine and open fields.

“These are wildflowers I picked by the road. It’s... for you. I hope your future is as free and bountiful as these wildflowers.”

Santiago raised the bouquet slowly, an amused glint lighting up his eyes. He brought the petals to his nose and inhaled their delicate fragrance, then looked at her with a joyful smile. It was almost unfair how charming he looked standing among those vivid, humble flowers.

“I’ve gotten many bouquets before, but this is the first time someone’s given me wildflowers. They’re beautiful, and I like them very much. Thank you.”

Leia laughed awkwardly and scratched the back of her head, her cheeks flushed bright pink. “It’s nothing big. I’m glad you like it. If you want, I can go up the hill and pick them for you every day.”

With that silly, sincere promise, Leia’s natural warmth bubbled back out of her—and Santiago seemed thoroughly delighted by her honest, unpolished charm.

But not everyone was pleased.

In the pickup truck, Xavier sat stiffly in the back, watching every second of their exchange through narrowed, burning eyes. With every lovely smile Leia threw at Santiago and every shy laugh that floated through the wind, the grip of his anger tightened around his chest. He might as well have been swallowing broken glass. He was so livid, in fact, that he felt the overwhelming urge to smash the car from the inside.

Turning to Adam with a freezing cold voice, he sneered, “Didn’t you say he keeps a low profile? He seems to be quite skilled at flirting with women; I feel inferior to him even though I’m a playboy. He’s not at all low-key and melancholic.”

Adam must have wished the ground would swallow him whole. He retreated awkwardly.

“Santi is indeed a low-key person, but he’s very nice to his fans and he likes interesting people. Miss Osborne is so special and cute, so not only Lily, I, and the others like her very much—Santi does too.”

Xavier scoffed, his jaw clenched as he looked back at Leia, who was busy laughing and blushing like she’d won the lottery. A bitter feeling churned inside him, though he would never, ever call it jealousy.

“She’s cute?” He sneered. “You think a tomboy like her is cute? All of you must be blind.”

But the sharpness of his words didn’t stop the sting in his heart. And it certainly didn’t stop him from burning a hole into the scene in front of him.

Meanwhile, Leia and Santiago were becoming closer by the minute. Leia was naturally social and outgoing, so once her initial fan-girl nervousness faded, she chattered away at Santiago like they were long-lost friends who had simply forgotten to meet sooner. Santiago, on the other hand, appeared utterly amused by her energy, happily savoring every one of her bright, eager comments.

A little while later, Leia looked at him with concerned eyes. “Mr. Dalton, are you thirsty? I’ll buy you some water.”

Santiago shook his head gently. “Not really...”

But Leia, being her typical unstoppable self, grinned. “That means you’re thirsty. Wait here, I’ll get you some water.”

And just like that, her legs carried her off in a flurry of enthusiasm. She jumped out of the pickup truck and ran toward a small store at the village entrance, her heart only thinking of making Santiago feel comfortable.

Behind her, Xavier’s patience snapped. The thought of Leia fawning over another man with that same spark she used to show him—if she ever had—made his blood boil. He rolled down the window and shouted after her.

“I’m thirsty too. Help me buy a bottle of water!”

His voice sliced through the afternoon air like a command, desperate and possessive in a way he would never openly admit. But the question remains: would Leia even listen to him? After all, Xavier wasn’t the only man waiting for her attention anymore.

Reader’s Impressions & Star Rating:

Oh, this chapter was such an emotional rollercoaster! I found myself grinning and giggling with Leia during her adorable encounter with Santiago—who, by the way, is far too charming for his own good. The wildflowers scene was so innocent and sweet, a beautiful contrast to the terrible tension radiating from Xavier. Watching Xavier suffer through every minute of this interaction was both satisfying and revealing. His angry, jealous outbursts and that final shout for water exposed something he refuses to admit even to himself. I love seeing this complicated mix of possessiveness, denial, and slow-burning jealousy! This chapter is a wonderful blend of lighthearted fluff and underlying emotional turmoil. Absolutely loved it!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rating: 4.9 / 5 Stars

Next Chapter Prediction:

Get ready, everyone—because I have a feeling chaos is about to erupt! Leia will probably hear Xavier’s shout and face a dangerous dilemma: should she ignore the cold, arrogant man who’s been treating her like a ghost, or continue showering Santiago with cute, attentive care? Xavier’s jealousy won’t stay bottled up inside him much longer. I predict we’ll see him do something bold to interrupt Leia and Santiago—maybe snatching the water bottle from her hands, dragging her aside, or making a possessive comment that shocks everyone. At the same time, Santiago seems to be developing his own interest in Leia, which may soon create a full-blown rivalry between two extraordinarily influential men. This is only the beginning of a storm!
