# Chapter 201: A Bottle of Water and a Storm of Feelings
Hello, everyone, it’s me again! How are you all doing today? I hope you’re ready, because I’m about to take you right back into the intense, heart-tugging world of **"The Untouchable Ex Wife"**. Today, we’re reviewing Chapter 201 — a chapter that may seem like a simple argument over a bottle of water on the surface, but underneath it hides so much jealousy, longing, and reckless pride. So sit back, relax, and let’s dive into this tangled, emotional mess between Leia and Xavier!
---
The village air was still, hot and heavy like the mood between two bickering hearts. Leia had barely taken two steps when she felt Xavier hovering behind her like an annoying shadow she couldn’t shake. Something about the way he followed her, his eyes watching her every movement, irritated her more than it should have.
"There's a drain there. Help yourself!"
Leia snapped at Xavier grumpily, gesturing to the side of the road as if she were offering him a place among the stray animals.
Xavier's face fell. For a split second, he looked like a man who didn’t know whether to laugh or leave. Even the stray dogs wandering around the village got better treatment than him — at least people offered them scraps of kindness. He, on the other hand, had just been told to drink from the drain.
Upset and perhaps a little wounded, he jumped out of the pickup and followed Leia anyway. He wasn’t about to let her have the last word that easily.
They both entered the small village store. It was a modest little place with limited goods, dusty shelves, and a single cashier who looked up with mild curiosity. But Leia didn’t notice any of that. Her focus was sharp and determined. She meticulously picked out water for Santiago, studying every bottle as if she were choosing a precious treasure for a king.
"Give me two bottles of pure water. I want the best and most expensive kind."
The cashier blinked, confused. But Leia’s eyes scanned the shelf, and her excitement slowly turned into anxious disappointment. This ordinary little store only sold basic mineral water — nowhere near the premium quality Santiago was used to. Worse, it wasn’t even spring water from the high-end brand he favored.
Leia's brows knitted together as she chewed on her lower lip. She reached into her pocket, pulled out a ten-dollar bill, and pushed it toward the cashier urgently.
"Help me get some high-end pure water next time you restock. My idol loves to drink that."
Her voice was pleading and sincere, as if this were a life-or-death matter.
Behind her, Xavier leaned against the cabinet with his arms crossed, a smug, mocking eyebrow raised high in the air.
"It's just water. Doesn't it all taste the same?"
Leia rolled her eyes at him in utter exasperation. Spinning around, she shot him a glare that could melt metal.
"You don't know anything!"
Then, as if teaching a child a lesson, she proclaimed, "There are different kinds of water. Some are pure like mountain springs and sweet, and some are full of impurities and unhealthy to drink!"
Though she was talking about water, the pointed edge in her tone made it obvious she was criticizing someone. Xavier caught on instantly and let out a low, meaningful chuckle. He raised his brows, a sly glint dancing in his eyes.
"So, you're aware of that?" He tilted his head, his tone teasing but sharp. "Looks can be deceiving. Your ‘low-key’ idol probably has ulterior motives. He purposely wants to fool rich young ladies like you to gain a more powerful position — and you're stupidly falling for his tricks and wagging your tail at him like a puppy. You're giving him everything he wants!"
Leia's face flushed with anger. Her hands clenched into fists at her sides. She was a fangirl through and through — she could tolerate people mocking her, but insulting her idol was a completely different matter. Nobody, not even Xavier, had the right to drag Santiago’s name through the mud!
"Xavier, Santiago is my idol, so you can't just slander him like that! I know you're a playboy, but please don't casually comment on others based on your own understanding. You don't know him, so you have no right to humiliate him!"
Her voice trembled with fury, each word landing like a small explosive. She was fiercely protective of Santiago, who had been nothing but kind to her since they arrived. Xavier, on the other hand, had stood there making snide remarks, acting as if he knew everything about everything.
Xavier shook his head slowly, genuinely astonished by Leia’s blind devotion.
"Did I humiliate him?" he asked, as if questioning a child’s foolishness. "If he's in the entertainment circle, there's no way he got to where he is without dirtying his hands. This circle is a mess, and honorable people will eventually become corrupted. If he didn't want to gain more power, he would have left a long time ago. Why did he come to this variety show? I just don't want you to be tricked. After all, it's not the first time someone fooled you. You'd better keep that in mind!"
His words were heavier now, less teasing and more serious. Behind the cold mockery, there was something resembling concern — though Xavier would never admit it. He didn’t want to see Leia hurt, not again. He hadn’t forgotten the scars she still carried from being deceived.
But Leia, blinded by indignation, refused to see the hidden worry behind his warning. Instead, she let out a sharp, sarcastic laugh.
"Hmph, yeah! The only honorable person in the entertainment circle is your first love. Your first love behaves like a devious snake, but you still think she's naive and innocent. Do you still see her as a victim? You and I share the same feelings — I just believe that the idol like will not disappoint me."
As soon as the words left her lips, the air thickened. Xavier’s mocking expression flickered, replaced by a look of surprise — and then something dangerously close to pleasure.
"So, you're holding a grudge against me?"
He smiled, as if a light bulb had just gone off in his head.
"So, you're using your idol to infuriate me by comparing him to Shirley?"
Leia’s cheeks reddened — half from embarrassment, half from frustration. She hadn’t admitted to any grudge! Why was he twisting her words?
"Ugh, you're overthinking. Don't compare Shirley to Mr. Dalton. It's a great insult," she said, rolling her eyes again. "If you're so free, go online and look up who Santiago is and what kind of past he has..."
Then, her voice softened slightly as she continued in a low, earnest tone — as if she genuinely wanted to protect the image of the man she admired.
"His family isn't bad. He joined the entertainment circle because he loves performing. He isn't anything like your first love, who does all kinds of things to gain more power. They're not the same. Oh, I'm tired of talking to you!"
With that, she grabbed a bottle of water from the shelf and flung it at Xavier in one sharp, impatient motion. The bottle spun through the air, a final punctuation to their explosive argument.
Without sparing him another glance, she turned on her heel and marched straight toward Santiago, leaving Xavier standing there alone with the cold bottle in his hand and a storm of complicated emotions churning inside his chest. He didn’t even know what hurt more — her insult, her defense of another man, or the painful truth that she was walking further and further away from him…

## Reader's Impressions & Star Rating
Oh my, this chapter was a wonderful mix of bickering and hidden emotions! The argument between Leia and Xavier feels so real — you can feel the electricity crackling between them every time they clash. Leia’s fierce loyalty to Santiago is admirable, but it’s also heartbreaking to see how Xavier interprets her devotion so differently. He tries to act aloof and mocking, but you can sense that underneath his cold jokes, he genuinely cares about her. It’s frustrating, amusing, and yet so deeply romantic all at once — the kind of chapter that makes you want to shake both characters and scream, "Just admit you still love each other!"
This chapter deserves a high rating in my heart. The dialogue was sharp, the jealousy was absolutely delicious, and Leia throwing that water bottle was a dramatic cherry on top. I’m completely hooked!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Rating: 4.8 / 5 Stars**
## Next Chapter Prediction
Now that Leia has literally thrown a bottle at Xavier and left him standing in the dust, the next chapter is bound to get even more heated! Xavier is not the kind of man who backs down easily — especially when he sees another man getting closer to Leia. I predict he’ll try to provoke Santiago or dig up more information about him, hoping to uncover the "true face" he believes is hidden beneath the idol’s perfect image. Meanwhile, Leia might find herself growing closer to Santiago, only to have a sudden encounter with Shirley that reveals a shocking truth about Xavier’s past — a truth that will leave her more confused than ever about where her heart truly belongs.
