So sit back, keep your hearts steady, and let’s dive right into this unforgettable story.

The night had settled deeply over the city, and autumn’s chill had already begun to bite through the air. The leaves rustled softly in the wind, but no one was around to enjoy them. The garden beside the hospital looked quiet, almost lifeless, except for one small figure who stayed close to the pond, observing his surroundings with sharp, determined eyes. Yes, that little boy was Adie. He had a clever mind hidden beneath his childish face, and tonight he was on a mission.

Holding Adie’s small hand, Seraphina walked alongside him. She smiled sweetly at first, attempting to lower his guard, but Adie was far from being an easy child to fool. Their footsteps scraped against the cold stones by the pond, and Seraphina slowed her pace, her voice dripping with fake concern as she asked, “Why are you here alone? Where’s your mommy? Isn’t she worried that you’re out here alone?”

Adie glanced at her, but didn’t really answer her question. This woman was a stranger to him, and tonight he had no time for strangers. Yet he wasn’t foolish enough to reveal all his plans right away. So, with a heavy heart, he confessed part of the truth. “My mommy has gone missing. I came here today because I wanted my Gene Daddy to help me find my mommy.”

He knew Stefan was still recuperating in that hospital, and he also knew that Renee was trapped at Jovan’s manor. As a child, he could not do much on his own to save his mother. But he was not helpless either—after all, he still had a father, even if that father was a scumbag sometimes. Adie believed if anyone could help get his mother out of danger, it was Stefan. So, despite his lingering anger toward his father, Adie decided to swallow his pride and come begging for help.

But Seraphina had her own agenda. Hearing Adie’s intentions, her smile twisted into something far more sinister. She looked down at the little boy and said, with feigned concern, “But don’t you know that your daddy has broken up with your mommy? Your daddy has no obligation to help your mommy again. You can’t trouble him with something like this, you know...”

That was the wrong thing to say. Adie glared at her, his young voice sharp and unyielding. “Why should I listen to you? Who are you to my daddy? What right do you have to meddle in his business?”

Seraphina stopped walking and stood right under the dim light. The pale glow bathed her face and highlighted her icy eyes. A cruel smile curled on her lips. She stared down at Adie with undisguised arrogance and declared, “Don’t you know? I’m going to marry your daddy soon. Your daddy has abandoned your mother and is going to make me his wife, so why can’t I meddle in his business?”

Adie was not shaken. In fact, he saw her for exactly what she was. Rather than cowering in fear or being impressed by her words, the little boy sneered sharply. “That just means you are a homewrecker. Don’t think you’re so great. You said that my daddy is going to marry you, but you’re not married to him yet. You have no right to say who he can and can’t help.”

His words were ruthless, wise beyond his years, and peppered perfectly with his natural venomous tongue. Adie might have been a child, but he had inherited his mother’s intelligence and courage. He didn’t accept Seraphina as any kind of authority in his father’s life, and he absolutely refused to let her stand between him and his goal.

But Seraphina was beyond reasoning. Her anger boiled over, and her mask of false politeness completely shattered. She looked at the little boy with fierce hatred in her eyes and hissed at him, “You’re brave and smart, but your mommy is dumb. How could she let you come out alone? You don’t know how wicked people can be. It’s a good thing you met me today, so I can help teach you a lesson!”

In that tense moment under the night sky, Seraphina decided she would scare or even hurt him. After all, didn’t this little devil belong to Renee? If she got rid of him, or at least frightened him into silence, she could protect her plans with Stefan. With that evil intention burning in her heart, she grabbed Adie’s shoulders roughly and pushed him directly toward the pond’s dark, cold water.

But Seraphina underestimated Adie. He wasn’t just a normal child—he was exceptionally nimble, smart, and had more than a little experience escaping villains. The instant her hands touched him, Adie twisted his body easily, sidestepping her clumsy attack. Not only that, but he suddenly tripped her, using her own momentum against her. With a loud splash, the pond’s surface exploded as Seraphina tumbled headfirst into the freezing water.

“Ah!” Seraphina screamed, flailing her arms and legs uselessly. The pond’s water was dark and cold, and panic gripped her instantly. “Help! Help me... I... I can’t swim!”

Adie calmly stepped up to the edge of the pond, crossed his arms, and looked down at the splashing, miserable woman. He wasn’t the least bit frightened. In fact, he smiled smugly and said, “I was wondering how to trick you, but luckily you gave me an idea. Enjoy your bath in the pond. Bye!”

And then, without looking back, Adie happily left the scene. His little footsteps echoed merrily into the night while Seraphina choked and gasped behind him, coughing water and sputtering in absolute fury. She shouted through her coughing fits, “Ugh, you naughty boy! I won’t let you off the hook! Help me!” Luckily for her—though not happily for her—a security guard had heard the commotion and arrived just in time to drag her dramatic, swollen body from the pond.

Meanwhile, Adie was already miles ahead, focused entirely on his real goal. He wandered through the hospital’s hallways, carefully studying the signs and directions everywhere he went. Eventually, he made his way toward the inpatient department, skipping past nurses and patients with sharp determination. He stopped beside a nurse and asked in his sweetest, most polite voice, “Which is the best ward here, Miss?”

The nurse looked down at the adorable little boy and couldn’t help but smile kindly. She replied, “It’s on the tenth floor. Who are you looking for, boy?”

Adie beamed. “Thanks!”

Without hesitation, he got into the elevator and pushed the button for the tenth floor. His plan was simple. Stefan always stayed in the finest, most exclusive ward that a hospital had to offer, so Adie knew exactly where to go. The elevator hummed and climbed higher, each level filling the little boy with renewed hope. When the doors finally slid open with a soft ring, Adie stepped out confidently. His heart pounded, but he held his head high.

But alas, fate was not kind to this brave little hero. As he advanced through the shining corridor, someone appeared once again to block his path. And that someone was no welcoming friend.

End of Chapter 352.

## Reader's Impressions & Star Rating

What an exhilarating chapter! This is one of those moments that make you want to cheer out loud. The way Adie handled Seraphina was absolutely perfect—so brave, so clever, and so satisfying! Watching that wicked woman twist her own schemes and fall into the icy pond was satisfying beyond words. I also loved that even though Adie is just a child, he is fearless in the face of evil and determined to save his mother no matter what. Seraphina is growing more despicable by the minute, and I can't wait to see her defeated. This chapter was intense, emotional, and deeply entertaining.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rating: 4.9 / 5 Stars

## Next Chapter Prediction

After this encounter, things are going to heat up! Seraphina will almost certainly run to Stefan first, painting herself as a victim and accusing Adie of attacking her. Yet I suspect Stefan will question her story—or at least hesitate—because deep down, his son matters to him. Meanwhile, Adie has finally found his father’s location; their meeting will likely be tense but could mark the beginning of Stefan stepping up to rescue Renee from Jovan’s clutches. Dark secrets and sharper confrontations are coming—stay ready!
