# Chapter 30: The Wizards’ Tower
Hello everyone, it's me again! How are you all doing? Today I will continue to walk with you and review Chapter 30 of "Forgotten Wife: Let the Traitors Kneel Down" — a chapter filled with mystery, determination, and the first steps toward power. So settle in, because the journey through the tower has only just begun.
When Sirius extended his hand toward April, the heavy door of the wizards’ tower swung open under the force of his magic. April took his hand without hesitation, stepping into a world she had never imagined. From the outside, the tower had seemed cold and forbidding, like a dark spine piercing the sky. But inside, warm light spilled through the halls, and a strange sense of comfort wrapped around her. It was almost inviting.
"This will be your home for a while, Your Majesty," Sirius said gently. "I hope you feel comfortable in my tower. If you need anything, do not hesitate to ask."
April’s mind, however, was not on comfort. It was on Alessandro, on the palace, and on the war that loomed like a storm on the horizon. She had not come here to rest. She had come here to become strong.
"Then we can start my training right now," she declared.
Sirius blinked. "What? Right now?"
"Yes. As you know, I am here to learn to control my power. I want to learn how to do it immediately so that I can return to the palace as soon as possible."
A knowing look crossed Sirius’s face. He understood the king’s true intention — sending April away was not only about training. It was about keeping his beloved wife safe from the danger creeping ever closer. But April was not a woman who would simply sit by.
"His Majesty should perhaps rest a little," Sirius suggested carefully.
"No. I want to start immediately."
"I understand your haste, but mastery of magic is not something that can be taken so lightly."
"I already know that," April said, her voice firm. "I also know that in my case it is even more difficult, since my magic power awakened only a short time ago."
"That's right."
"And that's why I want to start immediately. The war will be soon, and I want to be prepared to fight alongside Alessandro."
Sirius sighed. "I don't think His Majesty would like the idea of you participating in the war very much."
"I am also aware of that," April replied, her eyes unwavering. "But you will have to accept it. I do not intend to let you face the horrors to come alone."
Sirius scratched his head, a small, defeated smile tugging at his lips. "I suppose nothing I say will make Your Majesty change your mind."
"That's right. So let's start right now."
"Okay. Follow me."
April followed Sirius into his office. He sat down on one of the sofas and gestured for her to take the seat across from him. She did, but her posture was tense, eager.
"I thought we would start right now," she said.
"And that is what we will do," Sirius replied calmly. "But to know which parts need to be reinforced, I want you to tell me if you have any doubts about your magic."
April had many doubts. She had lived with this strange, untamed power inside her for so long without truly understanding it. She asked, "How can I have better control of my magic?"
"With practice."
"Why can I sometimes feel it flowing through my body, but sometimes it is as if it were not there?"
Sirius considered her question before answering. "I think it is because you have not yet broken all the seals that contain your magic. It is incomplete."
"That's what my mother told me. She said that until now, I have only been using my magic unconsciously."
Sirius's expression grew serious. "I know that His Majesty is still against breaking the last seal because he doesn't want to separate from his mother's spirit. But if he doesn't do it, it's a little difficult for him to control his magic."
April's heart clenched at the thought. She understood Alessandro's pain more than anyone. But she also knew what was at stake.
"Isn't it impossible?" she asked quietly.
"No, but... it won't be easy."
"I don't care. Even if it's more difficult, I don't want to break the last seal."
"Very well. We could try, but I can't assure you that it will work."
"I still want to try."
Sirius nodded. "Then we should start by learning to channel your magic."
"And how do I do it?"
"You could try using enchantments."
"Enchantments?"
"Yes. They will help you channel your magic. When children have just awakened their magic, they usually use them. As they learn to control their magic completely, they stop using them. Some even use weapons or jewels as channelers. But I think you should break the last seal that is inside you if you want to be able to access all your magic."
"Then maybe I should start with enchantments."
"Yes, I think that's the best. When you've handled that, you could try channeling your magic into a weapon or an object."
"I don't know how to use any weapon," April admitted.
Sirius smiled. "Here in the tower, there are many wizards who use magic weapons. They could teach you if you want. During a war, that is more effective than using enchantments, since it uses less magic. The king does it too. He channels his magic into his sword and creates thousands of sharp blades. Although only certain types of weapons can be used to do that."
April felt the weight of all she still had to learn pressing down on her. "I was aware that there were many things I had to learn, but I never imagined there were so many."
Sirius stood, walked to one of the shelves, and pulled out a thick book. He handed it to April.
"Learning magic is a very complex thing. But if you put your all into learning, I'm sure you'll see results quickly."
"I hope so."
"In that book, there are many spells that can help you. I recommend that you read it thoroughly before starting with the practical."
"I will."
Then Sirius’s gaze fell upon the ring on April's finger — the ring he had given her. His voice became careful, almost apologetic.
"Your Majesty, you may find what I'm going to say insolent, but please change the color of your hair and do not reveal your identity to anyone. It is to ensure your safety."
April understood. She touched the ring, and in a shimmer of light, her fiery red hair faded into a soft light brown. She looked like a completely different person.
"I would also like you to choose another name," Sirius added.
April paused, thinking. Then a small smile crossed her lips. She chose the name of the protagonist from her favorite novel — Amara.
"It's a nice name," Sirius said approvingly. "From now on, I will address you with that name. Please remember to keep your identity a secret. This is a safe place, but it is best not to take risks."
He snapped his fingers, and from the shadows of the room, a young woman appeared. She wore black robes and had short blonde hair, her posture respectful yet warm.
"Tara," Sirius said, "I want to introduce you to Amara. She is my student. Show her the tower and assign her a room."
"Yes, Master."
Tara turned to April with a bright smile. "Hello, Amara. My name is Tara. I hope we can get along."
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Tara. I hope I'm not being a bother to you."
"I'm sure you won't be."
Sirius gave Tara a look that said clearly: *Get out of here, I want to be alone.* Tara took April's hand and said, "Amara, we better get going or I won't be able to show you the whole tower."
They left the room together. Tara showed April most of the tower — its winding staircases, hidden chambers, and rooms humming with magic. But soon, April’s exhaustion began to show, and Tara kindly led her to her new room.
When April was finally alone, she sat on the edge of her bed and opened the book Sirius had given her. The words drew her in, page after page, spell after spell. She stayed up reading until very late, the candle burning low beside her. She refused to rest, because all she wanted was to finish that book quickly and move on to practice.
She needed to learn to control her magic.
She needed to return to the palace.
She needed to stand beside her beloved, no matter what darkness was coming.

**Reader’s Impressions & Star Rating:**
This chapter was a beautiful blend of quiet introspection and dramatic preparation. I loved seeing April’s fierce determination — she refuses to be a bystander in her own destiny. Her interaction with Sirius is full of wisdom and subtle emotion, and the introduction of Tara adds a fresh, friendly dynamic. The disguise as "Amara" brings a new layer of intrigue, and the final image of April reading late into the night, driven by love and purpose, really tugs at the heart. It sets the stage for incredible growth ahead.
⭐ Rating: 4.8 / 5 Stars
**Next Chapter Prediction:**
I predict that April’s first practical magic lessons will not go smoothly — her raw power is too wild, too deep. Perhaps she will accidentally unleash something far beyond an enchantment, forcing Sirius to realize just how dangerous her sealed magic truly is. And somewhere in the shadows, word may reach the palace of a mysterious new student named Amara… which could either protect her or put her in even greater danger.
